Sop there I am, sitting in my dermatologist office reading "Harper's Bazaar" and I see a design in the back drop of an article, and it hit me!
Green layered manicure!
Crazy, Fun and super easy...I promise! Here is the "box design" that I saw, I snapped a pic with my phone.
UPDATE: Thanks to Stephaine, she has identified this as "a painting by Josef Albers; part of his Homage to the Square series." Thank You Stephanie :)
I used OPI "Jade Is The New Black", "Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow", "Green-Wich Village", and "Damone Robert 1968".
Thanks to the OPI Prowide brush this manicure was easy. I applied the first layers as you would normally apply your polish.
Then, the second layer, OPI "Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow", I just applied a minimal amount of pressure and let the prowide brush make the arc, the same with the next layer, OPI "Green-Wich Village".
The last layer, I used a nail art brush and applied OPI "Damone Roberts 1968".
When I finished I was afraid that my nails would looked "humped" from the side view, especially since I went over each color twice, but nope...
No HUMPS! I topped this off with my usual 2 coats of OPI "Top Coat", and then Seche Vite. It was layered perfection :)
I loved this manicure and I plan o doing it again using greys, and maybe even blues...SHOCKING! LOL!
Keep It Sweet!
