My lemming dreams come true...

Yep, my favorite nail polish "event" is when I finally get a color that have been lemming for a LONG LONG TIME! :)

In a recent swap on MUA, I received MAC "Ming Blue", and I am soo happy I got it!

MAC
"Ming Blue"
2 coats

I love this blue, It's like a cross between a medium blue and robin egg blue creme with bright aqua shimmer. LOVE!!!!..and if you look real close you can see there is smaller purple shimmer in the formula as well :)

Now, I have a message for MAC....Your brushes SUCK! :) It's like painting a pretty little picture.....with a life sized wet mop...just plain sucks!!!!

I had no real problems with the formula, it was a bit thick, but still very manageable. Nice and opaque in 2 coats.

Stay tuned....I'll be posting my Monster Halloween Giveaway today.

It's funny, you would think that compiling the colors and deciding on what to giveaway is the hard part, but writing and coding the post...just plain sucks! LOL!

But I love my readers and commenter's, so it's worth it! :)

MAC: Bad Fairy

Yep, earlier this year I got my hands on this gem thru a swap with a reader and I was so excited about getting it, that I put it up on a shelf.....and forgot all about it...LOL!!! I became lost among all my many "untrieds" :) But I unburied it and here it is :)

MAC
"Bad Fairy"
3 coats

I really wanted to make sure this manicure lasted, since foils can be flaky. I used my usual base coat of OPI "Nail Envy", then I added Orly "Bonder", 3 coats of color, and then OPI "Top Coat" and Seche "Vite" on top!

I really loved this on my hands, it was so shiny and super pretty, and the colors kept changing from fuchsia, orange, burgundy...it was awesome!

But I'll tell ya what WASN'T awesome...the brush...the brush SUCKS!  I honestly feel that MAC needs to step up their "brush game" if they want to continue to compete with the "big boys" and charge $14 a bottle...I mean seriously!!!!

Uggggh, gorgeous! I hated taking this one off, but it lasted 3 days with no chips and probably would have gone a full 5 days "unscathed". :)

The beginning of "St. Patty's Day Week"

Yep, I love St. Patrick's Day.  It's not a big day here in Los Angeles, but back in Chicago, it's huge.  I lived in Chicago for 10 years and let me tell you this holiday is THE holiday!!!!

So all week I will be showing my "Luck of the Irish" nails :)

First up...
MAC "Jade Dragon"
3 coats

This is my first MAC, can you believe it?! I got this beauty in a swap and realized that because the bottle was tiny was probably the reason I never grabbed one..LOL! But this one is worth it! :)

I know a lot of people were upset that the fabulous teal blue shimmer does show more on  the nail,. but I LOVE shimmer "from within", I think they are more depth and character..... like a hidden surprise.

This is a great dark forest green creme with teal blue shimmer and I really like the contrast!  This was opaque in 2 coats, but the more I layered the polish the more depth it gave the shimmer :):)

Do you have any St. Patty's Day Plans??
