Follower Friday Request: Holo Skittles

This manicure is brought to you by the letter K for Kvacka. :) 

She wanted to see OPI DS "Shimmer" layered over other colors, so here they are sweetie.











































Thumb to Pinkie (2 coats each):
OPI "Funky Dunkey"
Orly "Red Flare"
China Glaze "Happy Go Lucky"
Art Deco "Green"
The Face Shop "Blue"

Then I added 1 coat of OPI DS "Shimmer" and wallah....















Wow! 1 coat of OPI DS "Shimmer" and it will make any color a holo...sweet!!!!















The red came out nice, I can see my self doing this again.















The green is my awesome, I mean wow, this one totally caught my eye, once I stepped outside.  the yellow was a bit of a disappointment. :(   But my favorites...of course.... were the...















Blue and the purple, how awesome did these 2 turn out...LOVE IT!!!!

    wow, this really looks amazing! especially over blue and purple, too bad I can't get ds shimmer anywhere. I would totally try it over emerald green :)

    Oh no, now I NEED to have DS Shimmer =P I like it the most on top of the red and the purple, beautiful!

    Those ARE awesome! You should consider working some of these pics into the header of your pages...it matches your candy theme perfectly!

    Love this! I used to do rainbow-skittle nails in high school but the holo really makes them pop!

    What a fun mani! I once did rainbow skittles with MAAH layered over the top but this is better.

    Awesome! I loved all the colors with AND without the shimmer. Wouls you used them this way, one nail of each color? I´m going to try it!

    @patricia- I have done that before. Last Easter I did pastel fingers from the China Glaze Up and Away Collection :)

    I lovelovelove this mani, it is so cute! DS Shimmer is such an amazing polish! I had to track down a second bottle because I felt I NEEDED to have a backup.

    Absolutely love it! Excellent idea for people like me who can't decide what to wear;)

    (oh, it's embarrasing, I was wondering all the time what Skittles mean, translator couldn't find it and after thinking about it (it took hours;)suddenly I remembered, it's a candy brand!!!!)

    Lovely! I didn't realize DS Shimmer can be layered like that. I thought it was more opaque.

    hah you're making all of us drool over ds shimmer now....(plus i'm craving some skittles) i gotta wait a bit just put a huge dent in the wallet from yesterday's purchases... i love reading blogs but they are not helping when i want to go out and buy every polish i see featured!!!
