Why did I wait so long?....

Every time there is some "buzz" about a color, I get excited when I see ti in the store, but I never buy it on  the first "sighting"..LOL.  I usually put it back, and continue on, and every time I see the color, I pick it up, looked at it, and put it back.  Well finally I picked up Rimmel "Steel Grey" and I DID NOT put it back..LOL :)

I wouldn't exactly call it "steel grey", but it is a gorgeous creme.  It's definitely a beautiful taupe creme, which has slight mauve undertones (at last it does on my skin)



























The brush is a bit odd, and really square and wide, kinda like the bottle...my poor pinkie was the hardest to paint, I kept having to barely brush the polish over the nail, so my whole pinkie didn't turn out TAUPE! LOL!














It's a great easy color to wear, definitely a core color everyone should have in their collection :)

    Yes, why DID you wait so long? Lol! This looks gorgeous on you. I loooooove the brush on these - so easy to use on my giant nails. :)

    hahaha, I do that too. Sometimes I play that "put back and get later" game for so long I miss out on some really good ones, i.e. Hidden Treasure :( *kicks self

    I really like how this one is not drab grey. It definitely leans more mauve-y and purple. I really like it!!

    Great color on your skintone ! I'd definitely wear this . It's reminds me of Pure Ice Taupe Drawer .

    This is one of my favorite neutrals :) I found the formula was great and I really liked the wide brush. I keep hoping Rimmel will get around to putting out a better selection of colors.
