Today I have 4 colors from Barielles 90 new color shades, which they added to their core line earlier this year. I was sent 8 colors to review, so here are the first 4 colors. :)
I think I choose some good ones to review.
Left to Right: Not That Kind of Girl, Starchild, Island Breeze, Lily of the Valley.
First up...
"Not That Kind of Girl"
2 coats, no top coat
This neon pink is AWESOME! Most neon's are thin, streaky and require a base color of white polish to seriously pop. This bad boy, pops right out of the bottle!!! It was nearly opaque in coat, but 2 coats makes it perfect. No streaks, no thin layers, no white polish needed, just hot pink neon perfection in a bottle!
And the true test of a good neon is...my camera is wigging out and can't capture the brightness, LOL :)
"Starchild"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a great glitter packed with round and hexagon silver holographic glitter. Definitely more of a top coat rather than a stand alone color, but it is very pretty and easy to apply. I didn't have to "place the glitter" on the nail like most glitters, I just swiped it on like most polishes, and all I got was well placed glitter, Sweet!
"Island Breeze"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a very pretty aqua blue shimmer, Nothing terribly unique, but it is a great color for summer, in a great formula. Easy to apply, no issues.
"Lily of the Valley"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a gorgeous Irish green shimmer, so pretty and opaque in 2 coats, although I see 3 coats may be necessary to make it perfectly opaque, as I see visible nail lines on my middle finger :( No matter, it's gorgeous it's green , it's perfect!
Basically my favorites are "Not That Kinda Girl" and "Starchild". Barielle seriously needs to make an entire neon set, because NYKG is amazing!

I love Barielle...every time they have a sale, I'm like yasss moah barielle LOL.
I love Starchild! It dries so smooth next to most glitters!
I really like Not That Kind of Girl and Starchild!
WOW! They are all good ones - but I am blown away with Not That Kind Of Girl - I am a sucker for hot pink, fuchsia, magenta ranges!
that pink is really cool - I'm in dire need of a punchy pink!
Also I wanted to let you know that the giveaway package arrived safely (I told P&K too!). I put the polishes in my latest post, if you're curious:
