Take a bite out of this GREEN manicure!

I don't know what else to call it, LOL, it's green and it' my manicure, LOL! :)

Sinful "Last Chance" and Zoya "Apple".

1 coat of Sinful "Last Chance" and 1 coat of Zoya "Apple".

Sinful "Last Chance" is a really nice deep green creme. Applied nicely and 1 coat is all I needed. Zoya "Apple" is a light apple green shimmer with added green and gold sparkle, very nice on it's own, but layered it really brings "the spark."

This manicure had serious "glow" to it!

Apple has this great golden apple appeal to it, and once it was layered over the Sinful, the darker depth of the Sinful really made Apple POP!!! :)

I topped this with my usual OPI Top Coat and then a final coat of Seche Vite. :) Check it out in the shade...

Woo Hoo! I hope everyone has a safe and very GREEN St. Patrick's Day!!!!

China Glaze Hunger Games Collection: Swatches

Okay... so at least one of the colors in this collection is green, so it still falls within my green manicure week category...LOL :)

We'll go in District Order :)

District 1 Luxury
"Luxe and Lush"
2 coats, no top coat

Flakie top coat with flashes of gold, orange and blue in the flakes.  This reminds me a lot of the Color Club Backstage Pass Collection, except this was a bit easier to apply. This color is best as a top coat over another color. I'll show this later on. :)

District 2 Masonry
"Stone Cold"
1 coat, no top coat

After 1 coat of top coat....

Deep charcoal matte polish with blue, green and purple shimmer.
Kinda cool! I was "over" the whole matte thing, until this, and now I'm back! Hello Matte!

District 3 Technology
"Riveting"
2 coats, no top coat

Deep orange jelly-like base with shimmer with golden flecks of shimmer! LOVE!!!!Awesome, the star of the show! A+++++++

District 4 Fishing
" Hook and Line"
2 coats, no top coat

Muted pewter frost. Nope! Not happening, my nails look like sardines! >:P

District 5 Power
"Electrify"
 2 coats, no top coat

Gold and red glitter. Very cool, can't wait to layer this one!

District 6 Transportation
"Fast Track"
2 coats, no top coat

Neutral creme with soft golden shimmer. I love this color in the bottle... Love I tell ya, but on my nail it goes dead. This one made me soo sad :(:(

District 7 Lumber
"Mahogany Magic"
2 coats, no top coat

Warm chocolate cream, this does not remind me of "mahogany" or "magic", and I know mahogany, I took wood-shop in Junior High! LOL! Not my favorite color!

District 8 Textiles
"Dress Me Up"
2 coats, no top coat

Dusty rose creme. Meh....

District 9 Grain
"Harvest Moon"
2 coats, no top coat

Awesome! This color is amazing! Warm bronze foil, gorgeous!

District 10 Livestock
"Foie Gras"
2 coats, no top coat

Cool colored taupe creme with purple undertones. Not bad, but nothing great, the name is awesome!!!!

District 11 Agriculture
 "Agro"
2 coats, no top coat

Khaki green shimmer with green, and gold micro-shimmer.
Love, Love Love this color! I was prepared to be "meh" about it, but nope, it's awesome!!!

District 12 Mining
"Smoke and Ashes"
1 coat, no top coat

Blackened teal with teal, and blue shimmer. I thought I would like this more, but it just fell kinda flat for me. Way prettier in the bottle.

Now here are some fun pairings :)

1 coat of "Electrify" over 2 coats  of "Riveting". All topped  with 1 coat of China Glaze "Fast Forward" top coat. I wore this to church on Saturday.

1 coat of  "Luxe and Lush" over 1 coat of "Smoke and Ashes". I'm not liking "Luxe and Lush" so much, so I took this off immediately. Too messy for me..LOL!

My favorites" Riveting", "Agro", "Harvest Moon", "Stone Cold" and "Electrify"!!!!

So that's it....Keep it Sweet and don't forget to go see the movie March 23rd :)

Dare to Wear "Disc Jockey"

Hello my little leprechauns!

Today, I have an awesome green glitter from  Dare to Wear.  I get a lot of feedback about "Dare to Wear" colors and where to get them.  I honestly have only seen them in person at my local Beauty Supply (not a chain), so I do not know where they are actually sold, in other states.  LOL!

I think I may have to have a "Dare to Wear" giveaway of all my favorite D2W colors, what do you think?

Okay, so here it is!

I used 1 coat of China Glaze "Gaga for Green"  and topped it with 2 coast of Dare to Wear "Disc Jockey". DJ is  not opaque in 2 coats, so I layered a green creme underneath to get the full "green effect" and to make removal easier as well.

I love Dare to Wear glitters, they are fabulous! Green jelly base full of multi-sized and shaped green and silver holographic glitter, BRIGHT and GORGEOUS!

Bar glitter, hexagons, small round glitter...whew, its a glitter party!

I layered Gelous over this manicure, and then topped it with Seche Vite, to smooth out the bumps! These pictures are after 2 days of wearing it, and there is a tad bit of tip wear, but no chips!

Keep it Green!
