PINK!!! with Orly and Lynnderella

I am NOT a pink fan, but occasionally the closeted "Barbie" fan in me wants a little breathing room!

Well today my inner barbie wants OUT!

Orly "Frolic" and Lynnderella "The Garden of Even"

I started with 2 coats of Orly "Frolic", then  I decided to top Lynnderella's "The Garden of Even on every other nail"...as if this manicure wasn't pink enough.  :)

Orly "Frolic" is a warm pink-lilac creme. It is super bright and super girly, and actually leans both pink and purple depending on your skin tone and what other colors it is paired with. It dries with a satin matte finish, so top coat is needed to make this doll shine.

Lynnderella "The Garden of Even" is a pink glitter party. It has pink, fuchsia, magenta and some purple all rolled into one. This color is known for having "bleeding glitter", which means the color of the glitter bleeds into the base, but that doesn't bother me at all.  This was part of the "Sweet Somethings for a Summer Solstice", released in 2012.  I nabbed my bottle from a fellow nail polish lover in one of my FB groups. :)

I think these two colors compliment each other very well. I did have to apply two thick coats of top coat over the entire manicure, to ensure that the glitter dried smoothly and that the manicure dried in a decent amount of time, given all the layers I used.

Yep, my inner Barbie has been satisfied!

Lynnderella "Salad Days"

Happy Tuesday.

Today I have a Lynnderella to share. I do not have many of her polishes, because purchasing them, in the past, from various shops via "lotteries" and "wishlist", have always been a "bit much" in my opinion, so I opted to purchase them from blogger blog sales and other nail lovers in various sale groups.

I'm "old skool" in my polish purchases...if it is for sale and available, and I have the money, I want to buy it....easy peasy! Now you can buy them on Ebay for $23 free shipping, whihc is a lot easier than before.

But  $23 is more than I want to pay for them, so I'll continue to buy them from other polish lovers for less. :)

I did buy, directly from Lynn, "Connect The Dots", from way, way back when her prices were lower, and she was using "round bottles", and sold them directly (first come first serve)... Ahhh those were the easy days. :)

I actually like her polishes, but I just can not always justify the price or the hoops you had to jump thru to buy them. With that being said....on to the manicure!

OPI "Jade Is The New Black" and Lynnderella "Salad Days".

I decided to do 2 coats of the OPI, and then 2 coast of the Lynn.

I loved this manicure! After I let the entire manicure dry a couple minutes, I topped it with 3 coats of top coat. Yeah, 3 was needed to make this smooth for me :)

OPI "Jade Is The New Black" is from OPI's "Hong Kong Collection" in 2010. It is a creamy dark jade green creme. Perfect in 2 coats and the perfect base fr a green manicure.

Lynnderella "Salad Days" is a an explosion of everything you would find in a salad. Greens, reds, purples, oranges, golds...I love it!  This is from her "Sweet Somethings for a Summer Solstice Collection" in 2012.

"Salad Days. Garden variety: tender lettuces, herbs, radishes, tomatoes, rapscallions and carrot chiffonade. A young, bright green with dressing on the side. The expression originated in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, when Cleopatra is regretting her youthful dalliances with Julius Caesar and says, “...My salad days... When I was green in judgment, cold in blood...”  Clear base."

Here are some pics in indirect light...

I love it! I love it!...and did I tell you I love it! LOL!

My new favorite manicure!

Yep, the second I woke up the next morning I fell in love...No, not with any hot guy next to me *I wish*, but with the hot manicure on my hands...LOL!!!

This manicure is AMAZING! I LOVE IT!!!!

Orly "Orange Punch" and Lynnderella "Connect The Dots"

I love this manicure!!!  Lynnderella "Connect The Dots" is amazing, seriously, this makes every manicure AWESOME!!

And apparently, I'm not the only one who loves it, I checked out one of my favorite fellow nail blogger's site, "Chalkboard Nails" and she posted  Lynnderella "Connect The Dots" Tuesday, Check it out HERE.

Great minds think alike, Chica!

The Orly is a gorgeous bright orange, without being neon.  It was a bit sheer, so I had to apply 2 "thickish" coats, and then 2 coat of the "Connect The Dots" . The "Connect The Dots" applied, nicely and I did not have to "place" the glitter on my nails. :)

"Connect The Dots" has a sheer slightly glittery base, with black and white multi-shaped and multi-sized glitter. There is bar glitter, hexagon shaped glitter, round glitter and even squares!

I loved this color so much, it is on my toes too, LOVE IT!!!! Lynnderella has a great blog, where she announces her newest collection HERE

Also, you can get Lynnderella "Connect The Dots" at LLAROWE's website, HERE
