Ruby Wing "Electric Firefly" and "Crowd Surf"

Happy Wednesday and I have something ELECTRIC to wake you up today!

Indoors....

AND

Outdoors...

These 2 colors from RUBY WING are AMAZING no matter where you wear them!

First Up...

Ruby Wing "Electric Firefly"
3 coats, no top coat
Indoors

This polish is HOT! It is a bright neon yellow shimmer, and the shimmer has a green quality to it, very reminiscent of a firefly! Growing up we called them "lightening bugs" :)

This applied very smoothly for a shimmer, but because of it's shimmer quality it needed 3 coats for opacity.

Outside this bright baby turns ORANGE with golden shimmer...

WOW!  I love this polish not only because it's bright neon yellow, that changes to orange, but because the SHIMMER changes as well. I love that!

Next Up...

Ruby Wing "Crowd Surf"
2 coats, no top coat
Indoors

This is a bright red based purple creme, almost neon, it's AWESOME and unfortunately this is the best photo I had that slightly captured how bright this is. This picture is from my phone, because my camera was having NO parts of this, LOL!

Outdoors it took on a deeper "berry" shade...

Applied well, no issues and almost went on like a gel, smooth and glassy! I loved it!

Overall my favorite is "Crowd Surf", but I really love them both.  In the summer, I love wearing color changing polish and thermal polish the most! The changes are always so drastic from hot to cold, and indoors to outdoors, it makes polish FUN!

You can get these colors at your nearest retailer for Ruby Wing or at rubywing.com.

Blue or Purple?

Happy Monday!

Today I have a "color changing", "glitter packed" manicure to kick off the new week.

I decided to layer Shimmer Polish "Jenny" over  the tips of Ruby Wing "Moonstone".

Here is the manicure indoors.

Ruby Wing "Moonstone" is a light blue creme polish that changes to muted purple creme in the sun.

Shimmer Polish "Jenny" is a mix of blue, turquoise,  purple, pink and gold glitter in a clear base. Easy to apply, and with a clear base it makes for the perfect glitter, for the tips.

Here it is, in the sun.

Bottle Shot changing in the sun

The change take some time, but after 2 minutes you get this...

A muted purple creme. I wish the purple was stronger sooner, but  if you plan on spending a day in the sun, this will be the perfect colors for you :)

I love all of the Ruby Wing colors, and I can not wait to try them all this summer, fun in-and-out of the sun :)

Gold Finger

Hellooooo, I know it has been a while sine I've posted a manicure, or collection.  I suffered a really bad nail break on both of my index fingers. So for the past 2 weeks, I've been giving my nails the necessary TLC, to encourage nail growth and health. So they are BACK! Woo Hoo!!

Here is a great manicure I just had to show you!

BB Couture "Zuma Wave Rider" and Ruby Wing "Sunflower".

BB Couture "Zuma Wave Rider" is a blue creme, but at time is has an almost periwinkle creme tone, and don't forget a very slight shimmer to it to. It's very pretty, but it was a bit thin and needed 3 coats for full coverage.

Ruby Wing "Sunflower" is a fabulous pale gold glitter polish that changes to a bright gold in the sun.  These pics are in the sun.  I've reviewed this polish before, but I had to wear it again. 2 coats and it was perfect, and it dries so smooth, it's a gem to cover with top coat.  I love this polish!

I'm really liking the glittery accent finger, and this gold finger goes with everything!

I have so many polishes to wear and review, I don't even know where to start....stay tuned, there is a ton more to come :)

Happy Friday and Keep It Sweet!

4 amazing colors from Color Club and Ruby Wing.

Hi! Today I have 4 amazing colors from Color Club and Ruby Wing, but they actually create 6 amazing colors, because the Ruby Wings change colors in sunlight...how fun is that!

Left to Right: Color Club "Flamingo", "Wild Cactus", Ruby Wing "Poppy" and "Sunflower".

The Color Club colors are from their "Fiesta" Collection and the Ruby Wing colors are from their "Garden" Spring 2013 collection.

Let the fun begin...

Color Club
"Flamingo", 2 coats, no top coat

"Flamingo" is a bright pink creme, the perfect color for your favorite pink bird! :) This went on easily, and was perfectly opaque in 2 coats, however the color is just a tad to light for my liking.

I prefer pinks (if I wear them) to be a tad deeper, more fuchsia. But, if I go to the zoo this year, I will definitely paint my nails this color to see if it matches the flamingos :)

Color Club
"Wild Cactus", 1 coat, no top coat

"Wild Cactus" is a an emerald green creme with a slight tinge of blue undertones. It's gorgeous, and in 1 coat it ranks HIGH in my book.

I love one coaters, because I am a gal on the go, and I LOVE any polish that is 1 coat and dries in a flash!

Ruby Wing
"Poppy", 2 coats, no top coat

OUTDOORS

Wow! What a serious change this is. I thought this was going to switch to a dark fuchsia, but it went all the way to MAROON/WINE is 30 seconds. AMAZING! The scent was nice and floral almost rose-like, but not too overpowering, just pleasant, like any hand creme.  :)

Check out the bottle when I moved my fingers...

OMBRE in a bottle, HA!

This color went on amazing, smooth and dried to a nice shine.  I decided to see if the polish still changed after applying top coat and...

Yep, and I think the polish became even darker!

Ruby Wing
"Sunflower", 2 coats no top coat

OUTDOORS

OH MY! I do not like gold, but I LOVE this color! 2 coats, opaque, with a smooth finish, and it goes from pale gold sparkle to electrifying gold in seconds!

Also this had a light floral scent, I don't know what sunflowers smell like, but this scent was nice. I kept smelling my nails throughout the day...I'm sure I looked like a freak, LOL!

Of these 4 colors, my favorites are Color Club "Wild Cactus", and Ruby Wing "Sunflower". :) There are way more Ruby Wings colors I want to try now...time to go refill my wishlist!

You can get these colors at your nearest retailer for Color Club, or at shopcolorlcub.com and rubywing.com.
