Yeah, I did it, I combined these 3 mega polish powerhouses into one manicure...ha ha ha , I'm mad I tell you....MAD!!!!!!!!!! **evil scientist laugh**
Cool ain't it?! I applied 2 coats of Zoya "Sooki", and then 2 coats of Orly "Shine", then topped "Shine" with one thick coat of OPI "Red Shatter"...genius I tell you!!!! :P
So many people asked me if I was wearing "Silver Shatter", but I told them "Nope, it's red shatter over a silver foil base"..hee hee!! Even though the "Red Shatter" is darker than "Sooki", I think the 2 colors combined with the silver foil make for a very easy and interesting manicure. What do you think?
Zoya "Sooki" is such a pretty red creme to wear this summer, bright and fun and perfect in two coats. It has pink undertones, which makes it a true "summer red". Soo nice! Zoya is one of the very few "consistent" brands when it comes to formula and texture. They always deliver and easy polish to wear and apply.
Orly "Shine: is my FAVORITE silver foil, applies perfectly in 2 coats and it dries nice and smooth showing no brush strokes, it's my go-to polish of choice!
OPI "Red Shatter", what can I say...it's genius, pure genius!!!

Rica, Rica!!!
Not only did I love the color of this polish, but I really "took" to the name. Recently me and my office were defending our client against a company in Costa Rica that had "Rica" in it's name, and that case was a nightmare!!!
So when I saw this name, I knew I had to have it :):)
Zoya "Rica" 2 coats, topped with Zoya "Armour" and SV.
Aren't my little nubbins juicy and cute..LOL.
This is a great shimmer that switches from pink to peach and I loved it more on my hands, than in the bottle.Look at that golden shimmer...so perfect for a sunny day!
It reminds me of Apricots! Yum!!! The formula was perfect as usual, smooth and easy and dried nicely! :)

Yep, I am happy I got this color! It's a perfect apricot shimmer for summer!

OPI DS "Desire"
Yep, its gorgeous and it's mine all because of a gorgeous and generous blogger named April :) You see, Aptil has a great blog called Concrete and Nail Polish, and she has an even better clothing and nail polish shop called Medusa Thread's.
Recently she got her hands on some truly HTF colors, and decided to try and sell them on EBay. I love EBay and I agree that some sellers are guilty of serious price gouging, but April is NOT one of them!! She listed this beauty for a reasonable price, but the problem was that the color was a bit "green" in the bottle. I messaged her, and asked if the bottle was really "that green" in person, she said yes, but she knew it was real, and I believed her, because I bought almost all of my China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection from her, and she is a trusted "nail connoisseur" :)
So long story short, she pulled the polish from the EBay site (because everyone kept asking about the color) and she emailed me and offered it to me as an extra with my next order. As luck would have it, I had my eye on her bottle of OPI "Man Of La Mancha" and once I ordered it, OPI DS "Desire" came along as an extra.:)
April is the sweetest blogger, store owner, EBay seller and personI have ever met on the web, and I will continue to purchase from her because she is knowledgeable, fair and an overall great person!
So enough with the words, here is OPI DS "Desire", 3 coats
Gorgeous, chocolate brown holographic loveliness!!!
All I can add is..."Yeah, it's real", and "Yeah, it's gorgeous" :)
The first second I got the bottle, I was in agreement that the bottle color and top were "off", almost faded and discolored and it hit me.....
SUN!!!!!!!! I could tell by looking at the cap that this polish had been sitting in the sun. I emailed April and she confirmed my suspicions. She said the bottle was on a shelf directly in the sun, in the store window! AH HA! Mystery solved! Plus, April and I agreed that we had seen other pics of this polish on the web and their bottles were a tad "green" as well.
It could be a little bit of "the formula" and "the sun" combined that makes this polish so odd colored in the bottle, but on the nail..... it's perfect!!! Thanks April for curing a serious lemming for me!!!! :)

RBL in da house!!!!
I love Rescue Beauty Lounge as much as the next girl, but I have to be honest, I only buy it when it is on sale for 50%. Seriously, I'm a sistah on a budget! LOL!
Anyway, no matter when or how you buy it, every color is a true beauty.
I picked "360" from last years 50% off sale :)
"360"
2 coats
Great color, okay so why did I let this beauty sit on my un-trieds shelf so long? Seriously, it is so pretty and unique!
360 is a very light murky, greyed out blue with hidden micro-micro silver shimmer. I know that explanation sounds odd, but it's spot on (in my opinion) LOL!
The formula is creamy and smooth and easy to apply, even though I have a bald spot on one of my nails, I'm convinced that was due to the fact that I was exhausted when I applied this, and I didn't notice it until the next morning. Can you see it at the top of my middle finger? Hee hee. :)
Anyway, check out this shimmer...
Gorgeous! If you have it..wear it! ....and if you can still get it...buy it!!!!

Diamond Cosmetics: Concrete Jungle
Since I could not get my hands on RBL's Concrete Jungle, I decided to grab the next best thing!!!
"Concrete Jungle" by Diamond Cosmetics
1 coat of base coat, 2 coats of color, and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite...wallah!
This color grey is not as dark as RBL's version, but it is a perfect light grey, just light enough NOT to look white. Smooth, creamy, dried well, no complaints, and it's $2.50 a bottle, so you SERIOUSLY can not beat that!
I love this shade of grey creme, it has undertones of blue, WITHOUT looking blue, in fact it really does remind me of concrete! I remember as a kid looking for wet concrete or cement in the summer time , so I could leave my "John Hancock" in it...LOL...only to be chased away by some angry home owner who didn't feel the same about my signature, as I did :)
This manicure was so easy, that it actually was my 2nd choice. I started to do a manicure using my 2 shatters and after that failed, I had to remove it, and quickly do this one. Concrete Jungle to the rescue!!!!
I was out the door in 15 minutes. :) Whewww! That was close! LOL :)

OPI: Serena Williams Glam Slam: French Open- Pack #2
This set has grown on me. At first, I was in love with the glitter OPI "Spark de Triomphe", a blingy silver multi-shaped glitter that leans gold at certain angles. The OPI "White Shatter" had me less excited, I mean ..come on...it's just plain white...LOL! But the folks at OPI know exactly what they are doing , and when these two beauties are paired together, they are over-the-top gorgeous!
Here is 2 coats of OPI "Spark de Triomphe" over 1 coat of base coat.
So pretty! The glitter is round and comes in 2 different sizes. Although this is still translucent in 2 coats, once the shatter goes on top, it should eliminate all traces of V.N.L. (visible nail line)
1 coat of OPI "White Shatter" and wallah!!! Pretty Awesome, isn't it! What a totally unexpected beauty!
I applied this in the same manner, I did with the other crackles, but I believe the" White Shatter" is not meant to "break apart" as much as the other shatters...It's shy..LOL.
I really like this look, and it makes me feel like a pretty, pretty princess...with hidden bling..LOL! :)
I love it!!!!
Glam Slam! France will be available beginning May 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $14.95 ($20.95 CAN) suggested retail for each duo-pack.
