OPI: Limited Edition Spiderman, Swatches and Review
Sony pictures paired up with OPI to release a new collection in honor of "The Amazing Spiderman" coming to theaters July 3, 2012.
The line features 6 new nail colors, in addition to an awesome new shatter!
"Your Web or Mine?"
2 coats, no top coat
Pink frost, went one very nicely, , no drag, great smooth texture , and as you can see the brush strokes left behind are not bad, but still visible!
"Into the Night"
2 coats, no top coat
Love this dark blue shimmer, super pretty! Formula was a bit thin, and the brush strokes are visible but minimal, so next time I'll try 3 coats, that way I get more deep blue shimmer for my buck!
"Call Me Gwen-ever"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a dusty coral creme, pretty, but a bit odd. I can't put my finger on this one yet, it perplexes me? I don't think I have anything like this color, but I do think I have some OPI colors that are close. The formula was smooth, no drag and no issues with coverage,
"Just Spotted the Lizard"
3 coats, no top coat
We've all seen this color before, but somehow every time I see it, it never gets old. Great formula, it was opaque in 2 coats, but I did a 3rd to build the intensity of the green flash. Love this color, and I love how it looks indoors and outdoors.
Gorgeous gold and green metallic duo-chrome!
"My Boyfriend Scales Walls"
2 coats, no top coat
Not quite white and definitely not grey, this is more of a dusty white creme. Very nice, this may have to replace my favorite white OPI "Alpine Snow"...this color seems much cooler than Alpine Snow to me, nice!:)
"Number One Nemesis"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a pewter green metallic shimmer, very pretty, but it does seem to remind me of a couple other colors. Never the less, it's very pretty and if you like greens and metallic finishes, you'll love this shimmer!
And here they are with the shatter on top, "Shatter The Scales"...
Above: "Number One Nemesis" topped with "Shatter the Scales".
Above: "Just Spotted The Lizard" topped with "Shatter the Scales".
Above: "Call me Gwen-ever"topped with "Shatter the Scales" and "Into The Night" topped with "Shatter the Scales".
Above: "Your Web or Mine?" topped with "Shatter the Scales".
Above: "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" topped with "Shatter the Scales".
Overall I am super happy with "Into The Night", but of course I love it, it's a blue polish! The other's aren't bad, but they are colors I feel we've already seen.
I also really like "Shatter the Scales", it is a super pretty green glitter/shimmer, it reminds me of wet lizard skin, which may gross you out, but it's kinda cool too!
Happy Friday and Keep it Sweet!

Dare to Wear: Selections from the "Love Dream" Collection
Hey there my little gum drops!
Today I have 3 colors from Dare to Wear's "Love Dream" Collection. My beauty supply stated carrying this brand and they continue to get new collections in every month.
I only selected these 3 from the collection because they are the major "stand outs" among the collection.
"Shangri-La"
2 coats, no top coat
Gorgeous teal blue shimmer, with aqua green micro-shimmer. So smooth and gorgeous, and it glows nicely from within.
Awesome! D2W colors are super pigmented and offer great color and smooth application.
"Our Secret Eden"
2 coats, no top coat
Seriously awesome!!! Glowing indigo creme with electric lilac micro-shimmer. It almost seems like this could qualify as neon, because it is so bright and seriously awesome!
This color is absolutely my favorite D2W color. It's smooth, dries fast and the color is amazing!
"My Sweet Desire"
2 coats, no top coat
This is an amazing deep orange shimmer with stunning golden micro-shimmer. Very nice, applied smoothly, and dried quickly.
I think all of these dried quickly because they use an older formula and contain some chemicals that more current polish brands no longer use.Always use a base coat, never apply this on your nails alone, that's just scary! LOL!
These are so awesome, I think I may have to include these in my 2nd anniversary giveaway. If you can get them or order them, do it!!!

OPI Limited Edition Minnie Mouse Collection: Swatches and Review
Hello Lovers!!!
Today I have my review and swatches of OPI's new collection named after that lovely mouse in a dress...Minnie Mouse!
"OPI launches Vintage Minnie Mouse, including four limited edition nail lacquers, for summer. Created in honor of Disney’s beloved character, the colors encapsulate Minnie Mouse’s irresistible charm in playful, pretty shades of pink and red."
"Nothin Mousie 'bout It"
2 coats, no top coat
2 coats, and as you can see this is definitely meant to be a top coat, not meant to be worn alone. But regardless, it is not an easy polish to apply. I had to dig and "plop" each heart on my nail. No fun!
"I'm All Ears"
2 coats, no top coat
Gorgeous fuchsia glass fleck shimmer! Really pretty! I think OPI has changed their formula a bit, the polish is super glassy and smooth and even easier to apply then before, me likey! Definite keeper!
"If You Moust You Moust"
3 coats, no top coat
This is actually very a pretty dusty rose pink creme, but I had streaks and "drag" at 2 coats, so I did a 3rd coat to even it out.Not terribly unique, but still a nice glassy pink finish is always nice to have in any collection.
"The Color of Minnie"
2 coats, no top coat
This is a great red with flashes of pink shimmer. Gorgeous! Applied like glass and honestly it was opaque in 1 coat, but I did 2 coats, so I could see more of that great flash! It takes a lot of a red to "WOW" me, and this one certainly did! :)
And here they are topped with "Nothin Mousie 'bout It".
"I'm All Ears" topped with "Nothin Mousie 'bout It"
"If You Moust you Moust" topped with "Nothin Mousie 'bout It"
"The Color of Minnie" topped with "Nothin Mousie 'bout It"
Overall my favorites are "The Color of Minnie" and "I'm all Ears"..these are really pretty and if you love reds, pinks and Minnie Mouse you'll want the entire collection.
