Dare to Wear "Pearl Rose"

Happy Monday!

I was browsing at my local Beauty Supply Store recently, and I ran across a pretty red polish by "Dare to Wear".  I don't browse often (I'm a shopping list kind of gal) but that day, I decided to check out the displays and there was a new display for "Dare to Wear" called "Mermaid Treasures".

I was surprised because the name of the collection grabbed my eye, but the colors did not :(

However, the red was worth grabbing.

This is a pink based red shimmer with added gold micro flecks. The micro-flecks shimmer gold and pink, so pretty!  It's the perfect red for summer without being too deep like most reds for Fall. I wanted to make sure I got the full richness of the red, so I applied three coat even thought it was fully opaque in two coats.

Yep, this polish did not disappoint. As in most D2W polishes, it applied well, smooth and easy and definitely worth every little penny. I say "little" because this beauty only costs $3 or $3.25, I can never remember the exact price. LOL :) I just know it's cheap!

Dare to Wear "Ready For My Close-Up"

It's OCTOBER!!!!!!!

Today I have a diva dazzler for ya!

Dare to Wear "Ready For My Close-Up" from their Vintage Hollywood Collection.

3 coats, with my usual 2 coats of top coat :)

Yes, it is a fabulous glitter in a jelly base, and yes it dried smooth!!

"Ready For My Close-Up", has a dark navy blue jelly base, that goes on thin in the first coat, but the second coat is where "the magic happens". The lovely pink, purple and blue holographic glitter shine threw!

AMAZING!

Because it has such a thin jelly base, it pulled away from my tips, once I applied the top coat, even when I wrapped them. NO matter, this lasted 5 days with no chips! WOOT!

Gorgeous! I love this brand, and I am so happy my nail supply store carries it. The polishes are inexpensive, and have a great formula. Win-Win!

That is the kind of "sparkle" a gal can fall in love with! *swoon*

Red, red, red....

Sometimes you just want RED!

Dare to Wear "Full Bloom" and "Goddess of Samba".

I did an easy 2 coats of "Full Bloom", and then followed with 1 coat of "Goddess of Samba" on the accent finger. Wallah! That's It! Topped it all off with 2 coats of top coat, and that was it!

"Full Bloom" is from their 2013 "Floral Fantasy" Collection.  It is a true red shimmer with golden micro-shimmer mixed in.

"Goddess of Samba" is from their "Carnaval" Collection.  It is a glitter packed party with red multi-sized glitter and some silver hex glitter.  This applied smoothly and is so glitter packed it can be work alone. in probably 2 coats, 3 if you are a glitter-holic!

Yep! Sometimes you just gotta go RED!  I grabbed these beauties at my local Nail Supply, but they are available on Ebay and online.

Dare to Wear: Selections from the "Love Dream" Collection

Hey there my little gum drops!

Today I have 3 colors from Dare to Wear's "Love Dream" Collection.   My beauty supply stated carrying this brand and they continue to get new collections in every month.

I only selected these 3 from the collection because they are the major "stand outs" among the collection.

"Shangri-La"
2 coats, no top coat

Gorgeous teal blue shimmer, with aqua green micro-shimmer.   So smooth and gorgeous, and it glows nicely from within.

Awesome! D2W colors are super pigmented and offer great color and smooth application.

"Our Secret Eden"
2 coats, no top coat

Seriously awesome!!! Glowing indigo creme with electric lilac micro-shimmer. It almost seems like this could qualify as neon, because it is so bright and seriously awesome!

This color is absolutely my favorite D2W color.  It's smooth, dries fast and the color is amazing!

"My Sweet Desire"
 2 coats, no top coat

This is an amazing deep orange shimmer with stunning golden micro-shimmer.  Very nice, applied smoothly, and dried quickly.

I think all of these dried quickly because they use an older formula and contain some chemicals that more current polish brands no longer use.Always use a base coat, never apply this on your nails alone, that's just scary! LOL!

These are so awesome, I think I may have to include these in my 2nd anniversary giveaway. If you can get them or order them, do it!!!
