Cracked Milani

Thank you to everyone who entered my Kahava Giveaway, it ended yesterday, so I will tally the numbers and announce the winners tomorrow :) Now back to the nails...

Yep I must really love the new Milani "one coat" glitters, because I've had it on longer than 2 days, so to give my manicure a face-lift I added 1 coat of IsaDora "Graffiti Nail Top in "Spraycan"

The IsaDora's dry a little matte, so I added 1 coat of China Glaze "Fast Forward" and I was good to go!

I like how the IsaDora didn't completely cover the sparkle, and a lot of the sparkle was able to shine thru, gorgeous!

I'm thinking I really should have done the IsaDora top coat layer earlier, it is truly stunning!

I hope the China Glaze crackle top coats are like this...woo hoo!

Halloweeny Nails and my giveaway winner!!!!

Okay so first we have the winner to my LA Colors Metallic Set giveaway and after using random.org, #2

was picked and that was:

#2Helen of Heli'sBeauties

Congratulations Helen, I've sent an email so please respond so I can get your pretties in the mail.

Now on to the pretty nails.

I used:
1 coat of CG-Liquid Leather on each nail, and then I followed with 1 coat each, individually, of the 3 polishes from the Awakening Halloween Collection

I think I like them over black then on their own. :) Especially Zombie Zest over black, love it!

I was going to make this my manicure for Halloween, but it wasn't spooky enough so I decided it was cute but not spooky, right?

UPDATED:
Because my friends know I have so many colors and a slight obsession with nail polish, they always expect me to bring it BIG, so I couldn't disappoint. Here it is!

2 coats of Zoya Jancyn, topped with 1 coat of IsaDora graffiti and 1 coat of Seche Vite :)

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween :)  I figured out a great way to get the candy you want and not trick or treat with the kids.  Buy a bunch of candy that the kids like (my niece and nephew and their friends all love peanut butter cups) and then trade with them for the candy you like that they have collected...smart huh!

Oh yeah, I was the hit of the night!! In fact the kids requested that I do this again next year...woo hoo, pay dirt baby!

Red Hot

Tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway! Don't miss out, enter HERE

This is OPI's "Red Hot Holiday" from the 2001 holiday collection...I bought it in a blogger sale and I am SOOOO happy I did!

OPI
Red Hot Holiday
2 coats

It's a great red/orange shimmer.  It's not quite red and definitely more orange, it's gorgeous!

I LOVE it!  Nothing screams fall like burnished, deep, darkened orange!  This color reminds me of the changing of the leaves in fall. :)

Then I started think of all the fireplaces that are lit around this time of year, and how the wood "cracks" under the flames, and I had a epiphany, CRACKLE...

Woo Hoo!!! 1 coat of IsaDora graffiti top coat and a coat of clear, and it was "on and poppin" :)

What do you like most about fall?

Swap and my niece's nubbin nails

I did  a swap with Theresia at Amused Polish.  We have two loves in common, blue and purple nail polish!

I love doing swaps with her because I always find a new polish I love when I shop from her list :):)

Here is what she sent me!

IsaDora Graffiti Nail Top "Spraycan", P2 "Silver Blast"...both crackle top coats :)

Catrice "From Dusk till dawn",  and "Bloody Mary to go" (jelly).

S-he "454", "384".

H&M "Happy Purple", "Happy Grey" and "Check me out".  B.Pretty "silver stars" (holo glitter).

Then while I was logging in my new colors on my spreadsheet, my niece (she's 9) was over my house and as always I use her as my "swatch victim".

I always use her bare naked 10 digits as my canvas to test my new colors.  She immediately took a shine to the "Happy Grey"....such a good eye!

Since she had a father/daughter dance to go to that night, I offered to do her nails...and she quickly added "Can we do a stickey sandwich?"...I was so happy...I taught her well...I shed a tear and said to myself  "A nail addict has been born!" LOL!

"Happy Grey" is a pretty putty colored grey with a slight pearlescent shimmer!

Doesn't she have the cutest little nubbins?? Now I just have to teach her how to ease up on her "death grip" polish hold technique...LOL :)

A little pixie dust never hurt....

Orly's "Pixie Dust", so pretty, perfect on a cloudy day right?

Orly
"Pixie Dust" 3 coats

It's a sheer grey shimmer that leans blue, and is perfect on a cloudy day!

The first coat went on super sheer, but the 2nd coat started to build nicely, so by the 3rd coat it was perfect!

But what little sun I had, went away immediately.... so I decided to mimic the recent cloud cover, with a little added gloom!

1 coat of IsaDora Graffiti Top Coat...Love it!   You have to work fast with this top coat or it will look goopy...it dries fast.I decided not to add another top coat, i like the contrast between the matte black cracks and the shimmery polish underneath :)

Also, did I tell you that this IsaDora brush is awesome!!! Nice and wide, almost like the O.P.I. brush, and so easy to work with!

This is the last week to enter my giveaway, HERE
