GOSH "Golden Dragon"

Here is a European beauty that I dug out of my un-trieds box just last week while I was looking for GOSH "Ocean", GOSH "Golden Dragon"!

It's just as pretty, but a bit different than GOSH "OCEAN", "Golden Dragon" is more green-gold with blue undertones :)

GOSH
"Golden Dragon"
2 coats, no top coat

"Golden Dragon" is a green-gold shimmer with blue undertones. It goes on thin, but smooth and delivers high shine and shimmer. It's like a cross between a frost, a shimmer, and a foil...all rolled into one! :)

Opaque in 2 coats, but 3 coats would be better to eliminate the slight visible nail line. Still, it's....GORGEOUS! :)

GOSH "Ocean" vs. China Glaze "Deviantly Daring"

I had a recent request in one of my nail groups on Facebook for this comparison and  since I was the only one who had both of the colors, I volunteered to do a quick comparison. :)

Left to Right 2 coats each: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH, China Glaze. No top coat

GOSH "Ocean" and China Glaze "Deviantly Daring". Both applied well to the nail, slight streakiness on the first layer, but the 2nd layer covered hat up nicely.

Left to Right: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH, China Glaze.

Left to Right 2 coats each: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH. The China Glaze is deeper and darker, and actually has a bit of shimmer to it, that the GOSH does not have.  Booth have the same lovely tones of oceanic blue :)

Since the GOSH is foreign and HTF (hard to find), I think the China Glaze color is a good substitute, but not a dupe. :)

In indirect lighting...

Left to Right: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH, China Glaze.

Left to Right: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH.

Left to Right: GOSH, China Glaze, GOSH.

If you have any comparison request, please email me at my contact email.  If I have the colors, I 'll do it for you, no problem. :)

GOSH "Purple Heart"

Today I have a polish I have had for at least 2 years.  I first swatched it for a comparison with Zoya "Ki" and other similar duo-chromes HERE.

After that I never actually wore it as a manicure until today, so here it is...

GOSH
"Purple Heart"
2 coats

I know what your thinking...boy is that window in the background dirty..LOL :)  No, I know you are wondering why the great green and blue duo-chrome magic we see in the bottle, does not appear on the nail and my magic answer...I DON"T KNOW...LOL!! But even though the "magic" does not really appear on the nail, this polish does not disappoint.

This polish applied very evenly and nicely for a shimmer, no dramatic brush strokes left behind. :) Also, this color is very similar to Zoya "Ki", and if you have "Ki", you may not need this one. See my comparison link above.

The dominate color is definitely the dusty orchid shimmer that you see, but on the side you can see its darker side, which appears at different times during the day and in different lighting.

In indirect lighting, a little steel grey is peeking thru....

Under indoor fluorescent lighting that grey turns a bit olive-grey...:)

I know a lot of people will be disappointed that the greens and blues don't show up, but no matter, what color shows up, at anytime, they are all gorgeous and make this color stand out in a crowd.

Gosh: Blue Monday

Today is actually a pretty good Monday, a bit crazy and hectic, but definitely not "blue",..but my nails are...LOL!!!

Gosh "Blue Monday"
2 coats w/ China Glaze "Platinum Pieces"

I should have 3 coats, in order to get the deepness of the blue you see in the bottle.  I did this manicure at night and I swore it looked deep when I did it, but in the sun light you can see 3 would have done it!

Oh well, it's still gorgeous, and at 2 coats creates the perfect blue for summer!!!

"Blue Monday" is a great sheer medium blue "foil-like" polish with very fine blue glass fleck pieces that sometime shine purple. It went on perfectly, no complaints, no running, no streaking and dried nicely.

I love it, and with the added crackle accent finger, this manicure is a winner..even on a "blue monday"..LOL!

GOSH is a foreign brand, so if you can score it thru a swap or trade...DO IT!!!! The closest American color that comes to mind is China Glaze "Blue Iguana"...grab that one too! :)

GOSH "Green Hawaii" gets a BIG "thumbs up" :)

Hello sweettarts! :)

I have another great green for ya! I was lucky to finds someone who was willing to swap 4 GOSH colors and this is one of the little beauties. :)

GOSH
"Green Hawaii" 3 coats

Bright green cream with holographic glitter.  The formula is a bit on the thin side, but in 3 coats it covered nicely.

Here is a fuzzy shot, so you can see the sparkle.  After a couple days I applied OPI "Black Shatter"

Here is a shot outside so you can see what the glitter size looks like.  This polish wasn't that bumpy, just my usual 2coats of top coat and it was "smooth" sailing :)

I love brighter, lighter colors under "Black Shatter", it really makes them pop!  I hope you all have a "lucky day" :)

Blue, purple, green duo-chromey comparison :)

You know the saying, "You've seen one, you've seen them all", well I thought this was true most of the time, but it's not always true... and definitely DOES NOT apply to nail polish...can I hear an AMEN!

I grabbed:
Zoya "Ki"
Nubar "Peacock Feathers"
OPI "Glacier Bay Blues"
GOSH "Purple Heart"

All 3 coats

The Zoya and the GOSH are very similar and both have an icy purple tone with flashes of green.  The Nubar has a great blue base that slightly leans green  with flashes of purple and green.  The OPI has a deeper blue base with a great purple and green  duo-chrome, gorgeous!

The Nubar is the most sheer out of the 4, but nothing that would bother anyone.  My favorites are the O.P.I. and the Zoya, the formula and color are "spot on" for both.

See the great green flash they all deliver, awesome! I love polishes that have this, I guess that's why I have 4 of them..LOL!

The Zoya and the GOSH are very close, let's take another look!

Yeah I can definitely say to all my nail heads, that if you do not have the GOSH, get the Zoya.  You won't be disappointed. :)

Gosh: Ocean

OMG!!! I hit 800 today, yikes and thank you to everyone who has joined me from day one up to today thank you soooo much!   I have another giveaway coming up soon, so stay tuned....

I recently received this color in a big international "GOSH Swap"...I received 4 GOSH polishes overall, so here is the first....it's so metallic and bright, I love it!

GOSH "Ocean"
2 coats

Ocean is a gorgeous metallic teal, opaque in one coat, but 2 is necessary to make those pesky brush stroke disappear :)

Minus the little dust particle that found its way onto my nail...LOL, this manicure was perfect...I even put this color on my toes and it is even better on my toes.....don't cringe, I didn't include any toe pics..LOL hahahaha!

This pic is true to what the color looks like, aqua metal with a darker royal blue duo-chromey finish..GORGEOUS I tell ya! GORGEOUS!

I don't know if it's officially Spring yet, but this color is perfect for the transition from Winter to Spring, cool yet bright....yummers!
