Yep, I love St. Patrick's Day. It's not a big day here in Los Angeles, but back in Chicago, it's huge. I lived in Chicago for 10 years and let me tell you this holiday is THE holiday!!!!
So all week I will be showing my "Luck of the Irish" nails :)
First up...
MAC "Jade Dragon"
3 coats
This is my first MAC, can you believe it?! I got this beauty in a swap and realized that because the bottle was tiny was probably the reason I never grabbed one..LOL! But this one is worth it! :)
I know a lot of people were upset that the fabulous teal blue shimmer does show more on the nail,. but I LOVE shimmer "from within", I think they are more depth and character..... like a hidden surprise.
This is a great dark forest green creme with teal blue shimmer and I really like the contrast! This was opaque in 2 coats, but the more I layered the polish the more depth it gave the shimmer :):)
Do you have any St. Patty's Day Plans??

I lived in Chicago for quite some time too (my heart still does, it seems) and I'm feeling the holiday VERY acutely. My birthday somehow always falls on the weekend they dye the river so doing nothing this year but getting up and going to work was a HUGE bummer.
Even so, I've got green on my nails too! This is unusual for me... I tend to be contrary and wear orange on The Day.
i love this color :-)
Beautiful color! My brother just moved to Chicago so I'll have to ask about the revelries!
Just when I think I have every green I could want or need, I realize that I don't have a forest/hunter green! Love it!
I love theme weeks!! Great green :)
This looks amazing on you! Its still one of my untrieds....
Thanks everyone- It is a gorgeous color, and I do miss Chicago, it is a GREAT city, but I DO NOT miss the weather..LOL :):)
Funny to read this was your first Mac polish, guess what, I have only one polish from Mac, ad it's that exact one! unfortunately, I was very disappointed by it, stained the hell out of my nails, even with basecoat, and was a pain to apply..weird? Didn't you have any problems with it?
