Halloween SPAM!

Okay so I had a lot of post set up for this month, but not enough days to post them all, so today you get HALLOWEEN SPAM!!

First up is a Manicure #1, "Holo Hills".
2 coats of Orly "Goth", then I used some scarp-booking scissors and frog-tape to make the "hills design", using OPI "Paris Couture For Sure".

Then I used my dotting tool and the OPI to make "the stars" bigger. :)

Manicure #2. For this one I used some of the China Glaze Halloween Colors for 2012.

Left to Right: China Glaze "Bizarre Blurple", "Rougish Red", "Bizarre Blurple" topped with "Glitter Goblin", and "Rougish Red".

"Bizarre Blurple" applied perfectly in 2 coats, gorgeous. "Rougish Red" was a bit difficult and I needed 3 coats to cover up bald spots. :(

"Bizarre Blurple" with 1 coat of "Glitter Goblin" on top is AMAZING! Glitter Goblin is orange, silver and purple glitter in a clear base and it is amazing! Applied easily and dries relatively smoothly, no issues.

Left Hand

Right Hand. All the colors are the same except the accent finger is "Rougish Red" topped with "Glitter Goblin. :)

Manicure #3...R.I.P.

2 coats of Orly "R.I.P." new for the Halloween season this 2012. RIP has a great black jelly base with Orange hexagon shaped glitter and smaller golden orange glitter. Applied easily and was opaque in 2 coats.

So pretty!

Happy Halloween! and Keep It Sweet!

Del Sol "Trick-Or-Treat"

Today I have a fun polish to share with you by Del Sol. You remember this brand, it changes colors in the sun.  :)

Left: NO Sunlight. Right: Sunlight

I first saw this polish last Halloween, and did not get it till months after. I've been holding onto to it till now to wear and share, it's FUN!!

Del Sol
"Trick-Or-Treat"
3 coats over a nude base color. Top coat added.

Pictures are taken indoors with flash.

Note: How the bottle looks indoors, just like the polish on the hand :)

I started with 1 coat of Color Club "Best Dressed List" this is a great nude for me. Covers up the nail line in 1 coat, perfect "nail underwear", then I applied 3 coats of the Del Sol.

Trick or Treat is a great fine dusty orange glitter in a clear base.  I opted to do a nice nude base color instead of an orange color as a base, because once this beauty goes outside it is no longer orange and I wanted you to see what it is ALL about, in it's pure glitter glory! :)

Pictures taken outside after 30 seconds...

Gorgeous! At this point it is a deep red/brown/orange and the sparkle is intense...but wait till it hits 1 minute. :)

After 1 full minute and more ...

Wow! Amazing!and because i used a nude base color, all you see here is all of what the glitter offers. Also, this glitter is not gritty and dries to a smooth finish, so only 1 coat of top coat is required. :)

I love how it looks in the sun, deep blacked red glitter, and the glitter still sparkles and shines. Gorgeous!!!

I know you can find this on EvilBay for an inflated price, but I think you may still be able to get it on their website DEL SOL on sale for $7.50.

Sonoma Nail Art "Halloween In The Vines" and China Glaze.

My last Sonoma Nail Art color for Halloween 2012.  I decided to pair the lovely purple glitter in "Halloween In The Vines", to some of the lovely purple colors I have in my China Glaze Collection. :)

"Halloween In The Vines" is a great purple glitter. Purple tinted base with deep purple, light purple, silver and magenta glitter. The glitter was super easy to apply, and once again there was no need to "place" the glitter on the nails, it applied perfectly! No issues, no placement. Just great!

Check it out in indirect sunlight...

He made the Bantam Gold playoffs...

Yippee! My nephews team, the Wildcats, made the playoffs, and as luck would have it his second playoff game is at my old high school. Now my old high school was no "football powerhouse  while I was there, so I hope my nephews team has better luck, than we did, LOL!!!

Here are 2 quick manicures I wore for his past games, their colors are dark blue, gold and white.   Emphasis on QUICK, LOL!!!

First up...

China Glaze "Ultamate Holiday" and NCLA "Venice Beach Vixen".

2 quick coats of "Ultamate Holiday", which dried quick and wasn't too gritty. Then I used one of my art brushes and painted blue squiggly lines down the accent nail. I wish my rush was thinner, so that the lines were more distinct, but I still like the contrast of the blue and gold :). Finished the manicure with 2 coats of top coat and it was game time!!!! :)

Check out the crazy sparkle of the China Glaze. This was an ULTA exclusive in 2011.

Next...

Barry M "Navy", and OPI Top Coat "Gold Lang Syne".

The Barry M, is an amazing navy blue shimmer that is perfectly pigmented and rich, and is almost opaque in 1 coat, so pretty!.  Then, I topped it with the OPI Top Coat, which is the perfect gold top coat, 1 coat of gold and that's all it took to take this manicure from pretty to FANTASTIC!

I loved this manicure and it caught everyone's eye, so pretty! :)

I don't know if I have enough time this morning to dream up another manicure, but if I do, I'll make sure to let you see it next week. Until then...GO WILDCATS and I love you NATE!.
