Another blogger described this finish as "lip-gloss" and she was exactly right! It's not quite a cream and not quite a jelly, it's lip-gloss, it delivers high shine like a "jelly", but has a nice opacity to it that does not give you "VNL"...Love this red!
I only did 3 coats because I smudge 2 nails and had to apply another coat to even it out. This was opaque in 2 coats :)
It has a blue tone to it, but it does not loose it's brightness, looks like a perfect piece of candy!.
This color came out in 2009 with "Mint Candy Apple", and I think it was overlooked by the "mint hype" :)
Can you believe they put this in the dusty bin? I grabbed it and a couple other Essie's and I was happier than a pig in slop ...LOL :)
I topped the 3 coats off with a coat of OPI and a coat of SV...perfetto!

Ha! I JUST bought this. I'm not normally into reds but this is irresistible. I think "lipgloss" is a great way to describe the finish. Brilliant!
