AAARRGGHH!

Every post I have seen today has the new Sally Hansen "Hidden Treasure"...what is wrong with the Walgreen's and Rite Aid in my area? Why are they always so late in getting certain collection in their stores?

Is anyone as frustrated as me about not seeing certain polish collections or seasonal products pop up at your local drugstore or Sally's until months after the release dates?

I know that "brick and mortar" stores are trying to keep their customers, and are losing a lot of them due to Internet businesses, but if they can not keep up with current product, and seasonal promotions, then they force their consumers to go online for their purchases...am I right?

Let me know what popular polish, you can't find?

I've been eyeballing my local stores for Sally Hansen's Wet Cement since the new Xtreme Wears came out. Haven't seen it in a single store since the day they were released. It's driving me nuts!

@rmcandlelight- Well if I do find it (and still like it) I'm buying all they have...I'll let you know if I do :)

@Blueyez- I don't have Wet Cement, but I have seen it around...that's a tricky one too!

I'm so with you on that. I just went through Ulta and two Meijers for ONE polish. And I can't find them. So beyond frustrated. Plus, on the trip, I broke a nail!

I know the people at Walgreens and Sally are damn sick of seeing me walk in, inspect the polish displays, and then storm back out of there.

But they really do take forever and a day. My Walgreens never got Sinful's Green Ocean, only just got the latest Borghese collections, and are taking ages to get the new scented Revlons and Sally Hansens. smh!

But you're so right...if they can't give us what we need, what do they expect us to do? Wait?
Not when it's only a click and a credit card away. hmph.

Good lookin out ladies!!! I am on a mission now, watch out...because when I do find it, I will let everyone know. These stores need to keep up with the demand, or my cash will go elsewhere

Hi Jackie! So true about drugstore polishes never being in! I just stopped by my local Walgreens today, and they only just put out Sinful Colors Rise and Shine. Since I can't get my hands on China Glaze's Four Leaf Clover, it looked like the next best thing...except it was never stocked. If the wait for Hidden Treasure to pop up takes this long, I don't know what I'll do! (Do let us know when you've found it! And thanks for letting me rant!)

Omg, yeeees. And being Canadian, we get stuff from Sally Hansen or whatever, even later. Drives me nuts!

I went to 4 stores today. One store had 2 bottles and I grabbed them and the saleslady got crabby with me when I asked for more. As we talked past her crabbiness (my foil skittles helped ;) she explained this: The store managers (this happens to be Walgreens) decide if they want to buy a display or not. If they do, they buy 1 and all the polish they get is what fits on the display. So, each display has 2 Hidden Treasure, that's it, no extras.

When I left the store, the cosmetics/polish lady was digging through her phone number stash to call SH directly about how to get more of this polish!

I explained flakies to her and told her if she wore it over a dark creme or shimmer that every person who saw it on her nails would buy it. Not to mention some of the other great colors on that display.

I think it is up to us in the NP blogosphere to educate our stores! Take care.

@Cyan- You can't find Four Leaf Clover? I haven't seen ti int he stores, but it is definitely online.

@ PerryPie- I know its difficult to get things in Canada, why does it have to be so difficult for store to get their product out?

@ Lacquer ware- Good point about letting the management know, next time I go into my local Walgreen's, I'll bring up this point, Thanks.

@ Rhea- Getting polish must be really hard for you i India, are there any cool Indian brands that you have access too?
