Deborah Lippmann "Lady Sings The Blues"

I purchased the Deborah Lippmann color trio set "All That Jazz",  almost 1 year ago and I am NOW just starting to unveil it's true beauty....* I know, I know, soo many polishes...so little time*

The set includes "Lady Sings The Blues", "Razzle Dazzle", and "Some Enchanted Evening".

I refuse to just "swatch" these beauties, so I'll have to wear them all and posts them individually :)

First up, of course, is my beloved navy blue :)

Deborah Lippmann
"Lady Sings The Blues"
2 coats

This is a gorgeous, yeah I said it.  Dark navy blue with large and small silver glitter. The formula was excellent, no application issues. In 2 coats I was able to achieve full opacity, and a nice amount of glitter on the nail. (no "placement" issues)

Please excuse my poor cuticle in this shot, the dry weather has been torture on my nails :( Thanks to LUSH "Lemony Flutter", my cuticles recovered nicely :)

I never have a problem with Lippmann glitters, they apply wonderfully, "wear like iron", and always seem to dry smoothly.

I topped this manicure with my usual 1+1 combo , 1 coat of OPI "Top Coat" and 1 coat of Seche Vite, and I was "out the door" :)

UPDATE: Any brand name top coat will do, but I always use 1 coat of a non-fast drying top coat, and then1 coat of a fast drying top coat, to prevent shrinkage and it gives my manicure staying power! :)

I have one DL and I don't even care for it that much. LOL This, however, is a gorgeous, gorgeous color.

It's very nice, I like this type of nail polish :) I have a similar one from essence, but mine is a transparent dark blue with glitter - recently I applied it to a dark green nail polish and the result was pretty amazing, like unexplored depths of the lake, in which something seductively flashes :) http://eteleport.blogspot.com/2012/01/notd-essence-colour-go-78-blue-addicted.html
Best, Yennefer :)

Gorgeous! I love all her glitters-so pretty! Do you do the 1+1 top coats on all your nail polish? or just the glitters? Seems like a good idea-I think I'm going to try it out!
