It's a slow day so I have a rant and a polish...first comes the rant!
Why is it necessary for me to have to go to a million websites and e-tailers and brick and mortar stores to get my polish!
I do not mind the need to swap with Europeans nail bloggers to get European polish, I get that, but why can't there be one website or one brick and mortar store that carries all the brands, and I mean ALL of them.
True... this store would have to be HUGE, I mean HUGE like an indoor swap meet or a mall (Mmm churros...I digress) , but seriously, why not? I hate having to go to 3 websites and probably 5 stores, to get my fall colors...this sucks!!!!
Okay on to happier things like polish....I have "Slow Motion" by Barielle
Barielle
Slow Motion
2 coats (should have done 3)
This one really surprised me. I ordered it at the last minute, instead of another color, and immediately regretted it once I hit the "Complete order" button.
Then I got it, and immediately hated it more....Oh crap, WTF!!!
So I said to myself, "Calm down, at least swatch it and then give it away"
It's a soft lilac pearl creme. I should have done 3 coats, and I definitely suggest it. So do I still hate it?
Nope I love it! I think it makes my hands look feminine and pretty! On my hands it doesn't look very lilac, more pearl with a slight pink, but I love it!!!
I like a pastel shade? Ladies, check the weather, because hell must have frozen over...LOL!
Have you ever had that reaction to a polish in the bottle, then loved it once it was on?

Probably but I can't remember details. I know! I got a pink polish from Green Fairy of Polished Serenity in a swap. The make is Rainbow. It's from Malaysia/Singapore. The quality is extraordinary. I absolutely love it. So many polishes from the Far East that we know nothing about!
@jaljen- I agree, there are so many out there, I have yet to explore, it kinda keeps this obsession of mine exciting :0
I like the lilac, not the biggest fan of the silver grey though.

This is a pretty surprise! I actually run into those a lot, the major one I'm thinking of is Hey Doll, I thought it would be totally...well, let's be blunt, "old lady mauve" and it's NOT! It's so gorgeous. I love when I get a surprise like that. This really suits your skintone also!
And your rant - OH MY GOSH. OR at least an etailer who sells everything. It's SO frustrating, having to go here and there, when you order online going to several sites and then paying the shipping haha!
looks pretty on you..now the rant i feel ya so i pretty much deal with h2t being a midwesterner-they're in chicago... for my orly, misa, color club. sallys for remover etc. on the dang bus :), (aaminahs loves riding the bus). i shop td and vns too.us nail junkies going to go were its at-just like nail junkies ha-ha
@ Nicole- I just want one etailer that has it all, is that too much to ask?
@aaminahs- I feel ya on h2T, I used them when I lived in Chicago., Right now I jockey between VNS and TD..but shipping is killing me :)

this is not just any pastel is pastelicious ;)
AAAAND, that one warehouse store that also has a site, should be physically located in LOS ANGELES since so many of the distributors are based here. You'd think here, of all places, we'd have something like that!
I like this color on you, but would not even think of swatching it on myself either. I used to dislike all reds, but recently discovered how gorgeous they look on me!
