Sally Hansen Magnetic's: Swatches and Review

Hello my cute little Chiclets! Today I have the Sally Hansen Magnetic colors to show you. Now to us  the nail world Magnetics are not too terribly new.

Most of Europe has had magnetic polishes for at least a year before they hit our radar. I actually have 4 colors from Essence that came out years ago (almost 2 years ago I swapped for them) that I have not even tried, LOL!

But today I will show you 3 magnetics that you can easily get in the US at your local drugstore and they are pretty easy and come out spectacular!

"Silver Elements"
2 coats, no top coat

Silver Elements is a great dark silver metallic, with lighter waves of silver..electrifying!!!
Pretty, huh? and it is super easy. All you have to do is remove the cap.

Paint 1 coat on your nails. Wait a minute or two. Then identify the magnet on the cap.

Paint another coat on your nails and then hover the magnet directly over your newly painted nail, and hold for 20-30 seconds. :)

And you get a fabulous pattern directly on the nail :)

"Golden Conduct"
2 coats, no top coat

Golden Conduct is a bronze/copper metallic with light brown waves. This one is really pretty in person!

"Red-y Response"
2 coats no top coat

Red-y Response has less shimmer than the other 2, but is very smooth and gorgeous! With the perfect wine colored waves, this is my favorite of the 3!

Overall  I love how strong the magnets are, and the fact that they work so fast,  but my only gripe is that if your nails are not completely flat, then the edges never get exposed to the magnet.  My nails have a natural curve and although I tried to shift the magnet around, I could not get the sides without ruining the entire manicure.

Honestly the manicure looks great even if the sides do not have the pattern, but I just want the ENTIRE nail covered....do you feel me me on this one? LOL!

Overall Sally Hansen did a great job on these polishes! I love them! Now, I need to go and get the blue and the green :)

I love them, too, but I had the same problem; my nail beds are not flat enough to get good magnet response on the sides! I'm still experimenting, trying to figure out a way to make it work...but it's gorgeous, for sure. I have the red and green...

I had the same problem--- my nails are very curved. But I still love the look! Thanks for great swatches!
