One thing’s for sure, she loves her nails!
Did Michelle Obama Wear OPI for the 2012 DNC?
Aside from her well-received speech last night at the opening of the Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama is drawing raves for her nails.
“I can’t say for certain, but it sure looks like I Don’t Give a Rotterdam to me,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director.
According to Suzi, I Don’t Give a Rotterdam is one of the best sellers of OPI’s spring/summer Holland Collection. “I had the privilege of meeting Michelle Obama about a year and a half ago. She told me how she was a big fan of OPI. Politics aside,” says Weiss-Fischmann, “you’ve got to love a woman who loves her nails.”
As with all OPI nail lacquers and nail care products, I Don’t Give a Rotterdam contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. I Don’t Give a Rotterdam is available at professional salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA. I Don’t Give a Rotterdam is sold for $8.50 ($9.95 CAN) suggested retail.

Personally, I thought it was Zoya Caitlyn.
@Carina M- Me too, but it has been reveled that it actually was a gel color called "Vogue", by Artistic Colour Gloss :)
@Jackie - I am SO not surprised its a gel mani. If you love your nails and you are going to be in front of a ton of people, you want gel.
I had to snicker at OPI trying to jump on the nail polish color sales train though. I love me some OPI as well, but I didn't think it looked that much like I don't give a Rotterdam
I don't think it looked at all like I Don't Give a Rotterdam. It was much more grey toned to me.
Suzi is amazing at promotion.
Michele is the first lady of nail style right now though. Her nails were perfectly beautiful. I thought the color was very sophisticated and that color was the perfect choice, because matching her pink dress would have been distracting and not serious enough.
Sh nailed it.
lovenailpolish
I agree ladies taking a second look at the polish it clearly is not OPI or Zoya, but can you blame either for trying to generate sales off of this? Zoya was even offering a promotion with the color, LOL! Well now that we all know what the color is, good luck finding it, LOL! :)
Agree with other comments - not Catlin or Rotterdam - but heck with all the buz top nail polish cos would be silly not to use this to push their own shades. Today we know it's Artistic Design (gel polish) in Vogue - a gray/lilac it says on their site. I can see a ton of company's now rushing around to see if they can re-release or promote an existing polish in their line up. I bet we see a ton more shades like this in the next yr - cannot recall so uch buz about a shade - nail art maybe - but still this one caught the eyeballs of a huge wide range of ages from teens to 70+!
