OPI Nice Stems Collection: Swatches

I finally got my hands on OPI's Nice Stems Collection, and although some of the colors disappoint, others totally make up for it :)

OPI "Play The Peonies"

It's slight and shimmery and just whispers pink, very feminine, and cover nicely in 2 coats. 

OPI "Come to Poppy"
2 coats

My favorite, this color is a really nice bright poppy shimmer/frost.   It is so pretty, and gives you a great pop of color, without going overboard.

OPI " Be A Dahlia Won't You?"
2 coats

My pics of this color are seriously crazy...LOL, I don't know what was up with my camera.  This color is a great bright fuchsia glass flecked color, but it's NOT this electric :)

Then I decided to top all of them with the glittery top coat from the collection OPI "I lily Love You".

“Using different micas and glitters can give lacquer a 3-dimensional look,” adds Weiss-Fischmann.  “I Lily Love You is a glitter coat that can be layered over any of the other three shades to add a bright sparkle; or, it can be worn on its own for a subtle tint of pink with strands of glitter.”

I LOVE "I Lily Love You", but it only looks good against darker colors where the flakes can be seen against a darker backdrop.  Unfortunately these flakes don't sparkle in the sun light, they just lie flat ..this make me sad :(

But I noticed the darker the polish, the more the flakes were pronounced and noticeable...this makes me happy :)

"Low light" LOVES "I Lily Love you"..LOL! The definite favorites in this collection are "Come to Poppy" and "I Lily Love You"
