Dr's Remedy 2011 Autumn Allure: Swatches and Review

Today I have colors from Dr's Remedy's Fall Autumn Allure Collection for 2011.

"Fall 2011 will be fierce: leaves will change, for sure, and temps will follow suit. But the real news relates to the hues of this season. Indeed, we're revolutionarily-ready to welcome a crisper, cleaner, clearer collection of colors, kudos to Dr.'s REMEDY insight and excitement over autumn. These hues celebrate the season that screams renewal: a rich Bordeaux; a modern burgundy; a navy-meets-royal blue. We welcome you to invite your nails to dance in Dr.'s REMEDY FALL FEVER 2011."

Of course in true "Me" Fashion I had to stat off with my favorite...

"Noble" Navy
2 coats- no top coat

It is the perfect navy creme. Not too dark, not too blue..just right!!!!! Application was great, no issues with bald spots and it dried perfectly!

"Balance" Brick
2 coats - no top coat

This is what I would call "NEW" brick, instead of just brick.  It's a like anew brick fresh off the assembly line. A pink based red creme is a great color to brighten up nails this fall. No application issues, creamy and smooth.

"Defense" Deep Red
3 coats - no top coat

Okay, not this one I wanted to love, nut it was a BEAR to apply. 3 coats and I still had bald spots.  Ugghh!

It didn't look like I had bald spots I.R.L, but as soon as the flash clicked, I saw them staring back at me like "Ah Ha, you missed us"...Aarrgghh! I think this color would work on a shorter nail, where you would use fewer brush strokes, and thus fewer bald spots :) The color is a great vampy red, without looking black!

I am really diggin' Balance - the pink shade. I look awful in pinks, but I so want to try this. It looks good for you.

The "brick" is really yummy!!
I hate bald spots on vampies (but it happened to me also with short nails); it's a shame, color is quite nice!

Can I just say out of all the blogs I follow, yours is the one that I like the writing style the most of! Your posts actually make me lol sometimes (read: bald spots). On another note, that collection is gorgeous (love that blue) but it's not the most original I would think!
