Zoya Nail Polish Naturel Collection 2014. Swatches and Review

Sometimes it is good to go "naturel", and Zoya has made that possible with 6 fresh new colors.

Zoya "Chantal"
French Vanilla Cream
2 coats, no top coat

This color reminds me of how REAL CREAM should look, rich and indulgent.  This is a warm peach cream, and even-though it is a bit too yellow for my liking, it is very pretty and went on well in two coats

Zoya "Taylor"
Light Toffee Cream
2 coats, no top coat

This is a nude I can wrap my nubbins around, LOL! This is a cool toned tinted cream that I think is perfect for my skin tone..not too pink, not too yellow..JUST RIGHT!

Zoya "Rue"
Boudoir Blush Cream
2 coats, no top coat

This is a tinted blush cream. A very nice tinted pink cream, not my favorite but tolerable! It went on well in two coats, no issues.

Zoya "Brigitte"
Bombshell Mauve Cream
2 coats, no top coat

Pink mauve cream...Yep it's mauve all right and yep...I do not like it, nope!  I will say it went on well in two coats, no issues.

Zoya "Odette"
Sultry Maroon Cream
2 coats, no top coat

Not bad.  This borders on pastel and a bright...I really like how this leans more lilac, on my hands than in the bottle.

I wouldn't call this "sultry maroon", I would call it "bashful lilac", LOL! No issues with application.

Zoya "Normani"
Sable Mauve Cream
2 coats, no top coat

I like this color, it' adds color to the nail while still being understated.  This is more like a lilac mauve and I can see this color becoming a cult favorite with women of varying skin tones. This is a keeper.  :)

Overall, I love "Taylor" and "Normani", those two colors are definitely my favorites :) All of them applied well, no issues and all of them were a dream to work with.  I think these colors would be best in a manicure mixing several colors in a pattern or designer...just to keep it fresh and interesting. :)

Nicole by OPI and Dove Chocolate, bring on the chocolate! Swatches and Review

Yep, I received in the mail nail polish and dark chocolate.  I was excited about the colors, and my family was more excited about the chocolate, win-win for everyone!

"Promises In The Dark" is a gorgeous dark chocolate cream.  Applied well in two coats and dried to a nice glossy shine.

"Better After Dark" is a smooth milk chocolate with added pink shimmer.  The shimmer is noticeable in the bottle and on the nail. Very pretty and feminine with the added shimmer. Covered well in two coats and dried to a nice shine. 

Overall, I like the concept for both, but "Promises In The Dark" is my favorite. You can't go wrong with a nice deep chocolate brown.

Zoya: Holiday 2013 Zenith Collection

I know it seems like eons ago when this was released, but I swear it was only three months ago...going on four, LOL!

Well here they are and they are gorgeous!

Zoya "Seraphina"
2 coats, no top coat

Lovely and smooth.  This is a white based polish with silver and grey shimmers. It is gorgeous, and by far my favorite because it is so original. It reminds me of shimmering angel wings, light and airy with a hint of glimmer. Definitely unique. :)

Zoya "Cassedy"
2 coats, no top coat

Smooth as liquid pewter.  This polish does not disappoint, and I love how pewter can lean silver and then lean green, gorgeous!

Zoya "Belinda"
2 coats, no top coat

Those purple and blue shimmers are amazing in the light and give this purple metallic polish LIFE! This is gorgeous in person, and I actually wore this for my pedi and mani...at the same time! That's LOVE Ya'll!

Zoya "Payton"
2 coats, no top coat

My nails are on fire with black raspberry love!  This deep purple base with added scattered holographic glitter is gorgeous. It is definitely opaque at two coats, but if you want this color to appear deeper, three coats is required.

Zoya "Dream"
3 coats, no top coat

Deep blue with scattered holographic glitter. Smooth and gorgeous, just how I like my blue polish!

Zoya "Mosheen"
1 coat over "Belinda", "Cassedy" and "Seraphina" and on a bare nail.

In indirect light...

Definitely better over darker colors. This sheer ice blue base is a perfect back drop to the iridescent bar and hexagon glitter added to it. There are turquoise, gold and copper glitters added that give this topper added depth.

Overall, I like this collection, the must haves are "Seraphina", "Dream", "Payton" and "Belinda"...get them if you still can!
