Happy Friday!!!!

Orly released the Plastixs Collection and I thought.."really?"..until I saw the swatches online, and they were awesome!

This is the only one I have, I need to get the red one!

Orly
Viridian Vinyl
2 coats, no top coat

Bright teal green, creamy, smooth with a plastic finish, sooo pretty! Definitely the perfect color to end a tiresome week.

Then I decided to add 2 coats of Orly's Prisma Gloss Gold

I love it!  I'm not really a gold fan, but I love the added glitz!

So... bright teal?...check!

Gold glitter? ...check!

Sunshine?...check! (finally)

Have a great weekend!  :)  Happy Halloween! and I will be announcing the winner to my giveaway on Monday :) Thank You everyone for following!

Swap and my magnetic new manicure...

I did a swap with Marie at Mon Coin a Moua, and she sent me some great new polishes and A LOT of candy...it was all eaten within 8 hours....so yummy!

2 Catrices (I love these), MNY, another cool metallic red polish, mascara, perfume, and a P2 portable cuticle pen (that is seriously cool, I'm gonna need more of these).

And included in the swap was a lovely L'Oreal Star Magnet color in red....*faints*.

I was so excited to get this, but my excitement turned to delirious joy when I finally saw it on my nail....

Love, love, love!

This polish is SERIOUSLY the coolest thing Ive seen, I can't believe the companies won't release them in the USA...American companies can be soo lame sometimes! LOL!

Thanks Marie, you made my week :)

Red Hot

Tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway! Don't miss out, enter HERE

This is OPI's "Red Hot Holiday" from the 2001 holiday collection...I bought it in a blogger sale and I am SOOOO happy I did!

OPI
Red Hot Holiday
2 coats

It's a great red/orange shimmer.  It's not quite red and definitely more orange, it's gorgeous!

I LOVE it!  Nothing screams fall like burnished, deep, darkened orange!  This color reminds me of the changing of the leaves in fall. :)

Then I started think of all the fireplaces that are lit around this time of year, and how the wood "cracks" under the flames, and I had a epiphany, CRACKLE...

Woo Hoo!!! 1 coat of IsaDora graffiti top coat and a coat of clear, and it was "on and poppin" :)

What do you like most about fall?

Swap and my niece's nubbin nails

I did  a swap with Theresia at Amused Polish.  We have two loves in common, blue and purple nail polish!

I love doing swaps with her because I always find a new polish I love when I shop from her list :):)

Here is what she sent me!

IsaDora Graffiti Nail Top "Spraycan", P2 "Silver Blast"...both crackle top coats :)

Catrice "From Dusk till dawn",  and "Bloody Mary to go" (jelly).

S-he "454", "384".

H&M "Happy Purple", "Happy Grey" and "Check me out".  B.Pretty "silver stars" (holo glitter).

Then while I was logging in my new colors on my spreadsheet, my niece (she's 9) was over my house and as always I use her as my "swatch victim".

I always use her bare naked 10 digits as my canvas to test my new colors.  She immediately took a shine to the "Happy Grey"....such a good eye!

Since she had a father/daughter dance to go to that night, I offered to do her nails...and she quickly added "Can we do a stickey sandwich?"...I was so happy...I taught her well...I shed a tear and said to myself  "A nail addict has been born!" LOL!

"Happy Grey" is a pretty putty colored grey with a slight pearlescent shimmer!

Doesn't she have the cutest little nubbins?? Now I just have to teach her how to ease up on her "death grip" polish hold technique...LOL :)

A little pixie dust never hurt....

Orly's "Pixie Dust", so pretty, perfect on a cloudy day right?

Orly
"Pixie Dust" 3 coats

It's a sheer grey shimmer that leans blue, and is perfect on a cloudy day!

The first coat went on super sheer, but the 2nd coat started to build nicely, so by the 3rd coat it was perfect!

But what little sun I had, went away immediately.... so I decided to mimic the recent cloud cover, with a little added gloom!

1 coat of IsaDora Graffiti Top Coat...Love it!   You have to work fast with this top coat or it will look goopy...it dries fast.I decided not to add another top coat, i like the contrast between the matte black cracks and the shimmery polish underneath :)

Also, did I tell you that this IsaDora brush is awesome!!! Nice and wide, almost like the O.P.I. brush, and so easy to work with!

This is the last week to enter my giveaway, HERE

A little pick me up.....

So it's been raining ALL week, so I decided to pick up my spirits and put on my OPI "My Private Jet" as my NOTD for the first time...nothing says happy like a holo on your hands right?  LOL :)

Well,  although it was pretty to see on my hands, I did not have enough sunlight (because of the rain) to REALLY enjoy it, so it totally bummed me out...here are my crappy, indoor, blurry photos of a HOT polish!

Blurry and crappy but you can still see the HOLO!!!

I did one coat of my usual black polish and 2 coats of OPI.

I do this so I do not have to use up all my MPJ in a manicure...every little bit helps :)

I'm gonna have to wear this again we we get the sun back...whenever that is!

Happy Friday!!!

The Best Foot Cream Ever!

I first stumbled on this cream while I was at ULTA over 10 years ago.  It was on sale in a "Total Foot Care Kit".   I bought the kit for $20 bucks and it had the cream, a scrub, pedicure socks, some tools for a pedicure and a base coat and polish color in red, I thought "not bad", so I bought it! :)

While I used the kit numerous times, I never used the foot cream. I always used my normal Eucerin cream.  Then fast forward to present.

I was unpacking an old box last year, and I found the  cream, opened it up...it was still good, so I tried it...man oh man...does it work...awesome stuff, it smells great, and your feet are super soft after the first use.

I put it on in the morning and the evening before I go to bed, and now I can not live without it.  The only issue I had with it was that it only came in a 4oz. tub...but the Barielle people finally got smart and made a bigger tub 12 OZ...woo hoo!

My prayers have been answered !!!!

This is an honest review, Barielle did not ask me to do this...what can I say? I love this stuff!!!!

My new Haul

My Giveaway! Something is wrong with the form I used and its not working, so I have opened up the comments section on my giveaway.  Sorry!  Please leave your entry info there, Thanks :)

I always say "I'm not going to buy anything this month:, but that always fails and I have valid excuse this time...I was out of town, so of course I had to look for colors I can't get back home?...right?

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL! :)

Yep, I finally got he Studio M/ Massini "Slamming Red" and "Purple Medallion"...sooo happy!
Red and purple polish chock full of holo goodness..yum yum!!!!

 :)

Sinful "Green Ocean"...woohoo, Ive been wanting this forever!  This was the only bottle left and from the looks of it, it was swatched by many a shopper, but I don't care, its mine now!!!!!

I'm a sad panda now, we don't have ANY sun in sunny California, so I have to wait to wear these, because you all know that the Studio M's are best in the sunshine!

Happy Days!!!!

These saved my manicure...

I do not like the little bottles that OPI sometimes releases, it annoys me that they are so small and sometimes they only release colors in these small bottles.

These little bottles are so annoying if it is a color you REALLY like, then you have to go around town buying collections of  little bottles of a color you love just to get enough to have for future use. This sucks!

So the fact that I dislike these little bottles is not a shock, but for once I can say that these little bottles saved my sanity and my manicure.

This is OPI "OPI Ink" and Orly's "Top 2 Bottom" base coat and top coat.

While I was on my way to Indiana, these little bottles escorted me in my carry on baggage and saved my manicure for a week.  After I arrived, I bought some remover at the local CVS and a small pack of cotton balls and went to work removing my old manicure that had been murdered during travel.

Luggage and manicures do not go together :)

After 4 days.....this is 3 coats of OPI, over the Orly, and then a coat of the Orly on top.  It took forever to dry (I've been spoiled by Seche Vite), but it did the trick!!

The nick on the ring finger, happened on the trip home while I was grasping for my lap top crammed under the seat in front of me.  I swear they add a new row of seats to planes every time I fly...I mean REALLY???

After 4 days this is awesome, I loved OPI Ink, it is a great deep purple shimmer with a blue flash, so pretty! and I got a ton of compliments on the color.

I'm just happy I didn't break a nail while I was on my trip.  Whenever I travel I ALWAYS break a nail, never fails, the only difference this time is that I have been taking 1,000 mg of BIOTIN everyday and I am telling you that crap works.

So here is my plea to OPI, you should make little bottles of all the colors in your core line. Yes, I am now a believer..LOL..... because when you travel these little bottles fit perfect in the TSA recommended toiletry bags and they make travel easier for those of us who are "manicure impaired"..LMAO!!!

Now I'm off to one of my favorite Beauty Supplies, where they have little mini bottles of Seche Vite....gotta prepare for the next trip :)

Swatches and another GIVEAWAY!!!!! CLOSED

I found this great set of "LA Colors: Color Craze Metallic Polish Series" in my local CVS, and I grabbed it quickly.  2 jelly shimmers and 2 foils...awesome!   Then, when I got the package home I realized there are no names for the colors? How odd is that?

Pink
3 coats

A gorgeous fuchsia jelly with pink and blue glass fleck shimmer.  It was opaque in 2 coats, but I thought 3 coats would show the jelly color and shimmer better.  Easy to apply, no issues, dried smooth, not gritty. :)

Purple
3 coats

Really pretty, this one is awesome!  Deep purple jelly with purple and blue glass fleck shimmers...gorgeous too, perfect for winter...deep and sparkly.  No complaint either, same formula as the pink :)

Grey
2 coats

Now this is a definite foil, it actually more platinum and graphite colored than I originally was expecting.  Awesome color, I love the silver and graphite foil effect, dried quickly and smooth.

Green
2 coats

This is an awesome green foil.  It leans more aqua green than kelly green, but it is awesome! A great green foil.

This set is awesome and considering it was only $2.99...that is a better deal than the Dollar Tree, so you know I had to grab an extra for a giveaway....for my followers! :)

So here ya go followers, here are the rules :)

ONLY ENTER ONCE :)

THIS CONTEST ENDS THURSDAY October 28th at midnight .

Something is wrong with the form so I've opened up the comments section (below), leave your entries there. Thanks :)
