When I met Katie and she gave me her new collection for spring/summer, she also dropped in my bag her bottle of "Stalkarazzi"...LOL, I love the name! It's very similar to Nubar "2010", so I did a little comparison :)
2 coats of China Glaze "Liquid Leather", 1 coat of each (Left to Right): Stalkarazzi, 2010, Stalkarazzi, 2010.
Left to Right: 2010, Stalkarazzi
Basically Stalkarazzi, was smaller and fewer flakies..which I like, since this formula allows you to see more of the base color, and the formula has the same "hair gel" consistency as her spring/summer collection, thus it's easier to apply.
Goes on smoothly and does not "pool" or "run"..NICE!
Left to Right: 2010, Stalkarazzi, 2010
The flakes seem to have the same shimmer and shine, so so pretty!!!
So if you didn't grab Nubar "2010" or Sally Hansen "Hidden Treasure"...go HERE, and grab Stalkarazzi :)

The Painted Nail Spring/Summer 2011 Swatches and Review
My recent visit with Katie Cazrola of The Painted Nail and Nail Files, not only produced lasting memories, but she was gracious enough to give me some of her new polishes from her line with Nubar.
Here ya go...in rainbow order ..of course!!!!
The Painted Nail "Malibu Dreams"
2 coats
Ugggh, Hot pink, and it flashes blue in low light...so pretty!
Love...first off, let me say that the formula on this and all of the polishes is AMAZING. It's smooth and almost has a "hair gel" like consistency. Katie said she specifically asked Nubar to do this so that application was easier and the polish was less likely to "pool and run" along the cuticles. Isn't that genius!!!!
The shimmer on this and all the polishes is OFF THE HOOK! These are my new go to colors for summer..hands down!!!
This color and "Legendary Lavender" were completely sold out in the salon. She told me one of her star clients tweeted about them and in 2 days she was ALL OUT...WOW..the power of the tweet..LOL!
Katie's PR agent, Karin, had to send this and "Legendary Lavender" to me from her personal stash in her office. Thanks Karin :)
The Painted Nail "Citrus Sparkle"
Here's a pic of my first manicure!

The Painted Nail "Citrus Sparkle"
3 Coats
This was my favorite on my hands, the golden shimmer is soooo crazy gorgeous, it's just awesome! Although the camera shows the "VNL" (Visible Nail Line) in this color and the next 3 colors, in real life the shimmer totally covers that up..seriously!!
The Painted Nail "Mestiza", named by Vanessa Hudgens. Her grandmother called her "Mestiza" which means "Golden Child" in Filipino. That's' too cute!
3 coats
This is actually the color I ran home and put on IMMEDIATELY! I just could not wait to see the shimmer of lemon yellow on my hands...I loved it! I discovered after wearing this a 2nd time, that in low light, at an angle, this polish flashes green...sweet!
A "golden nail" for a "golden child"...LOL :) (3 coats of color with top coat)
The Painted Nail "Fairy Wings"
3 coats
This wasn't my favorite, but the color is an amazing shade of green. Totally reminds me of cold lime jello with fruit cocktail in it...ahhh brings back childhood memories!
The Painted Nail "Electric Blue", named by Debbie Gibson
3 coats
ELECTRIC..seriously ELECTRIC..amazing, gorgeous, love it!!!!!! This also has a flash of purple in low lights.
The Painted Nail "Legendary Lavender", named after Elizabeth Taylor
2 coats
This is gorgeous! Just like Elizabeth Taylor! No wonder it was sold out in the salon, look at it!
The Purple shimmer is soooooooo pretty, and the shimmer is super strong! My pics do not do it justice, this is a MUST HAVE!!!! There is a slight blue duo-chrome effect that is so subtle, but in low lights its awesome!
Simply put, Katie out did herself with this line. She wanted to bring the shimmer and the glitter...and she DID!
You can purchase these colors at her shop online HERE, where she has a ton more colors, or trot on down to her salon (I'm sure she has re-stocked by now )

The Painted Nail (long post)
Last week I decided to reach out to the PR for Katie Cazorla of The Painted Nail to get some PR Info. on her salon, her new polish line with Nubar and her reality show, Nail Files.
Long story short, PR called me back and invited down to The Painted Nail to meet Katie. She had been touring with the "Manicure Bus" for over a month , so her and the bus, would be at the salon that evening giving away free manicures. PERFECT!
I love how the bus is like a mini-extension of the salon, even down to the comfy chairs and decor!
When I met Katie she was all smiles and a big ball of super high energy. She was so sweet and all about the nails...which is right up my alley :)
She immediately noticed my latest "Shattered Manicure" (the one I posted last Friday) and said to her PR Rep. Karin, "I knew she would bring it"...LOL!
Katie showed me around The Painted Nail, and talked about what the salon offers and how she choose the decor, which is a little slice of heaven ya'll!! Take a peek!
If the display above looks a little light, it's because Katie gave me all the colors in her new summer line, straight from the display..LOL....she insisted I have them all, she is sooo sweet!!!
Not only do they give the bomb manicures and pedicures, and reflexology services. Also, they offer eyebrow waxing and shaping and all other waxing services, and don't forget that at THIS salon, the first thing they offer you is a COCKTAIL with your service...yes, you read that right...cocktail!!!!! Woo Hoo! They even offer a Margarita Mama manicure and pedicure and it comes with a Margarita..WOO HOO!!!!!
Check out the polish racks!
Yes, that is 99% Nubar..LOL..she does have some select other polishes and colors (I'm sure you can spot the bottles...LOL), but the majority of the polishes used are Nubar, her line with Nubar, or Gel manicures.
Get this, she does NOT do Acrylics at The Painted Nail ..yep, no obnoxious fumes and smells, just the glorious smells of ice cream scented lotions, cake scented pedicure bombs and all the yummy scents of her soaks, lotions and creams. YUMMY!
My day with Katie was great....LOL, it felt like a spa day with "the girls" but it was only 2 hours...LOL! We sat and talked about polish, (her favorite color is BLUE..woo hoo), and how she loves any polish with glitter and that has sparkle. But honestly between every question and answer, this chick was WORKING. ..LOL!
She was booking appointments, serving drinks, answering phones and booking manicure parties...she WORKS YA'LL!!!
I enjoyed meeting Karin and Katie and her staff, and everyone was so nice and professional!!!
Katie's is a hard working nail-head and she deserves all the success she has and all the success still to come, I wish her the best of luck with the Salon, the show...everything!!!!! Keep it rockin chica!
And if you are in the Sherman Oaks, CA area, check out the salon, HERE

Nicole by OPI: Texture Coat: Swatches and Review.
Here they are , the new Nicole by OPI Texture Coat Collection colors. All 6 :)
First up, I swatched 3 colors against white to show their color better.
1 coat of OPI Alpine Snow and then 1 coat each of "Turquoise Texture", "Red Texture" and "Black Texture", all with one coat of Top Coat.
I don't know why the brushes are different, but here they are. The "Turquoise Shatter" came with a brush very similar to the old Sally Hansen bottles and the Rimmel bottles, which I'm not a fan of... Hhmmmm ...moving on :\
"Turquoise Texture" is very similar to "Turquoise Shatter", but "Red Texture" is more opaque in color than "Red Shatter". If you recall "Red Shatter" has a jelly like consistency and shine, it's very nice, but very different than "Red Texture".... Yep, It's a definite keeper :)
"Black texture" is similar to "Black Shatter", so if you didn't grab Shatter, grab the Texture :)
Now, here are my favorites!!!!
Gaaahhhhhh, look at that sparkle..I love them!
1 coat of ChG "Liquid Vinyl" and then 1 coat each of "Silver Texture", "Gold Texture", and "White Texture", all with 1 coat of Top Coat.
Yep, the brushes did it to me again...LOL, "Silver" and "White" had the fat brush and "Gold" had the skinny one, has anyone else experienced this with their bottles? or any Nicole by OPI bottles? This is a first for me :)
Look at that glitters and shine...woo hoo!!! "Silver Texture" is similar to "Silver Shatter". I'll have to do a comparison of these 2 soon. "Gold Texture" is gorgeous, I'm not a fan of the color gold, but this one is a definite must have for me....I love it against black and dark colors....gorgeous!
I love "White Texture", it applies so much better than my bottle of "White Shatter"...This make s me very happy!
Overall I really like this collection and specifically, I love "Red Texture", "Silver Texture" "Gold Texture" and "White Texture", theses 4 are must haves in my book :)
