More Swap and Haul Pics...

April over at Concrete and Nail Polish, set up a great shop called Medusa's Threads, selling fashion and polish ( 2 of a girl's favorite things), she still has some of these great colors up for sale, at a very reasonable price ( my opinion), Go HERE

I also grabbed from Medusa Threads,China Glaze "OMG", and from a recent swapon MUA, "L8R G8R".

In a recent swap with a lovely reader Terni, she gave me *hold on to your hats* OPI "Merry Midnight", MAC "Bad Fairy", Pure Ice "Purple Reign", and China Glaze "Eyes like Sapphires"...my head is still spinning from this swap :):)

I grabbed Orly "Royal Velvet" at Sally's, and China Glaze "Doll House" was an extra from April.

Now on to the Zoyas...

I grabbed "Rica" and "Reva" from the sunshine collection ( I should have grabbed "Faye" too) and then "Phoebe" from the Mod Matte Collection ( I need to get the other 2, too) :)

I grabbed the entire Summertime Collection, because I love Zoya cremes :):) LOVE THEM!!!!

Swap and my magnetic new manicure...

I did a swap with Marie at Mon Coin a Moua, and she sent me some great new polishes and A LOT of candy...it was all eaten within 8 hours....so yummy!

2 Catrices (I love these), MNY, another cool metallic red polish, mascara, perfume, and a P2 portable cuticle pen (that is seriously cool, I'm gonna need more of these).

And included in the swap was a lovely L'Oreal Star Magnet color in red....*faints*.

I was so excited to get this, but my excitement turned to delirious joy when I finally saw it on my nail....

Love, love, love!

This polish is SERIOUSLY the coolest thing Ive seen, I can't believe the companies won't release them in the USA...American companies can be soo lame sometimes! LOL!

Thanks Marie, you made my week :)

Swap and my niece's nubbin nails

I did  a swap with Theresia at Amused Polish.  We have two loves in common, blue and purple nail polish!

I love doing swaps with her because I always find a new polish I love when I shop from her list :):)

Here is what she sent me!

IsaDora Graffiti Nail Top "Spraycan", P2 "Silver Blast"...both crackle top coats :)

Catrice "From Dusk till dawn",  and "Bloody Mary to go" (jelly).

S-he "454", "384".

H&M "Happy Purple", "Happy Grey" and "Check me out".  B.Pretty "silver stars" (holo glitter).

Then while I was logging in my new colors on my spreadsheet, my niece (she's 9) was over my house and as always I use her as my "swatch victim".

I always use her bare naked 10 digits as my canvas to test my new colors.  She immediately took a shine to the "Happy Grey"....such a good eye!

Since she had a father/daughter dance to go to that night, I offered to do her nails...and she quickly added "Can we do a stickey sandwich?"...I was so happy...I taught her well...I shed a tear and said to myself  "A nail addict has been born!" LOL!

"Happy Grey" is a pretty putty colored grey with a slight pearlescent shimmer!

Doesn't she have the cutest little nubbins?? Now I just have to teach her how to ease up on her "death grip" polish hold technique...LOL :)

Sweet Swap and Haul

Merry Monday!

First the great swap I did with Stephanie at Lacquer Lady

I specifically asked for the IsaDora graffiti polish in black, and generally told her what colors i liked.  Perfect match! I'm still waiting to complete her box, it will definitely go out this week! Thanks Stephanie!

She also added this super cute hand made necklace.  I admired a similar necklace on her site, and can you believe she included it in my swap!? I didn't even tell her I liked it, this was meant to be :):)

Here is the graffiti polish I immediately swatched it, over a holo I was wearing.

The pinkie is applied top to tip,.the ring finger is applied from left to right. Two different looks, one great polish! I'm gonna have fun with this one!

Now for the recent Hauls.

Dusty #1, by my job

Yep...I bought 6 of the same color..what color you ask?

A holo.... by the name of "Blue Moon Lagoon", I was so shocked to see it in the discount bin that I only bought one, because I thought for sure it was a dud...until I stepped outside, and saw the holo goodness in the sunlight!.

Then I turned my tail back into the store and bought 5 more.  I will use them for swaps, frankens and giveaways :):)

Dusty #2 in the valley

China Glaze, Rapture, Awakening, CCCourage, Sci-Fi and Blue Island Iced Tea

Orly Pixie Dust, Star of Bombay, Fantasea and Iron Butterfly

OPI- DS Glow, Wing It! and Russian Navy Suede

Zoya Raine and a Milani I picked up on the way home at CVS, from the Haute Value collection, Dress Maker.

It's supposed to be another Chanel Jade dupe, see the pretty green shimmer inside? :)

Thanks for dropping by!

A great swap and a good friend:)

I had a busy weekend, so I will have some nail swatches for you tomorrow, today is a swap I did with an international blogger Suzanne and a gift I received from an old friend from High school :)

First up my swap with Suzanne

GOSH "purple heart" and "holographic", L.A.Girls "Punk", "Overdose" and "groupie" and an OPI Mini "OPI Ink" :)

Konad eye treatment, eyeshadow samples, glitter-stones add-ons and Face Cream! Thanks Suzanne, I hope you are enjoying the pretties i sent you :):)

Then I went to visit an old High School, friend Viv and her family.  Funny thing is she married a guy who was in my 5th grade class, such a small world.  They have a beautiful son and it was such a joy to see them after so many years. :)

She visits my blog and she knows about my growing love of polish so she bought me some...soooo sweet!

Essie "Blueberry Crumb", "CG- Coconut Kisses", Zoya "Pasha", Chanel "Metallic Vamp", OPI "OPI Ink" and OPI "Yoga-ta get this blue". All on my list, Thank You!!!!

The Chanel was out of her own collection, and I am so honored she gave it to me. Thanks Viv!!! *muah*

Oh and I saw the new OPI Goth Halloween colors at my nearby beauty supply, but I didn't feel like paying $13 for 4 mini bottles, somehow that just irks me...I need to see if ULTA has the mini cheaper

Swap Hauls and my new HOLO

I recently received two swap hauls . Here are my new pretties!!

I swapped with Karen D. of Frazzle and Anipolish

Karen contacted me because she saw on my blog that I was looking for the DT glitters and Sally Hansen's Opulent Cloud.

I needed the glitters for an international swap I was gathering for, and well Opulent Cloud, I just couldn't bloody find, so I was so giddy when she said she had them :):)

Then to top it off she added Millennium to the mix  (another polish on my list) and an extra packet of the black and silver glitters.....so happy!

Now since I had the glitters, I could complete my swap with Theresia from Amused Polish.

Here are the pretties Theresia sent me, are you ready?

What you ask? Whats the little silver bottle?...well I'll show you

Glam Nails "Rainbow"...its a light silver holo, I was so giddy to see this surprise, great choice Theresia.

I of course IMMEDIATELY put this baby on.

So pretty, this is 3 coats, this polish is sheer, but layers nicely with no drag, and dried quickly.

I wore it for 3 days before I begrudgingly took it off.

I love holographic polish because it gives you the best of both worlds, a nice metallic that delivers flashes of every color, it does not get much better than that!

After seeing this one, I KNOW I need to get Nfu-Oh 61...I need it as bad a a crack head needs a hit...yeah ...that bad!

Whats your favorite holographic polish?
