China Glaze "Avant Garden", selected swatches and review

Happy Monday!

Today, I'm going to share with you some selected colors from the China Glaze Spring 2013 Avant Garden Collection.

The colors on the top row were sent by China Glaze PR, the bottom colors were purchased by me.

"Dandy Lyin' Around"
shimmery vanilla icing
3 coats, no top coat

White creme shimmer. This was thick and gave me bald spots at 2 coats, so I added a 3rd coat to cover up the spots.

"Keep Clam, Paint On"
sea foam green
2 coats, no top coat

Sea Foam green shimmer. This  is very "icy" and pretty.  It was a tad thick as well, but not as thick as the previous color. I LOVE the color!

"Fade Into Hue"
periwinkle creme
2 coats, no top coat

Bright blue toned periwinkle creme. Gorgeous creme, easy to apply, no issues with this beauty!

"Tart-Y For The Party"
light lavender creme
2 coats, no top coat

Lovely lavender!  Applied with no issues.  This is a great dusty lavender with blue tone, which makes it feel cooler and more wearable for me.

"Pink-Ie Promise"
iridescent baby pink
2 coats, no top coat

Very light baby pink.  This color applied well, and actually has a very slight shimmer to it, but it was hard to capture on the nail.

"Life Is Rosy"
blushed mauve
2 coats, no top coat

This is a deep dusty mauve.  Even though it is not bright and you usual spring color, it is very pretty and reminds me of roses in a garden. Applied well, no issues.

"Budding Romance"
moss green
3 coats, no top coat

Bright earthly moss green creme. This was thin, and required 3 coats.  I still love it. It is bright and fresh looking.  I realize on most hands, this colors will not "work", but if you like green you may fall for this color. :)

"Fancy Pants"
indigo with pink and purple shimmer
2 coats, no top coat

Can you tell I love this color! This is a bright indigo blue creme with pink and purple shimmer that simply jumps off of the nail in the sun. GORGEOUS! Smooth application, no issues. :)

This collection has it's mix of pastel, brights and deep colors. Something for everyone.  It also has it's mix of formulas, thick, thin and just right, LOL!

My picks are "Fancy Pants", and "Keep Calm Paint On".  Most of these colors are not terribly unique, but a couple are worth picking up.

Oh wow, this collection is nice! There are several I really like and a few more that will probably jump into my basket and make it home with me.
