Cult Nails: Let's Get Nekkid Collection Spring 2012

Nudes, nudes and more nudes...with a little seaweed on top!

UPDATE: Thanks to my reader "Jeni", I was informed that the collection names come from actual Nude Beaches...that's so cool!

Here is the newest collection from Cult Nails, and although I was ready to dislike the nudes, I really like the uniqueness of each one. :)..plus I love seeing the polishes wrapped up like little burritos :)

First Up...

"Baker"
2 coats, no top coat

Peach nude creme with bright gold shimmer.  So pretty, and almost opaque in 2 coats. I like this one a lot, and I do not have anything in my stash like this, so this is a winner for me.

"Mazo"
2 coats, no top coat

A very sheer pink tinted nude with golden shimmer. This one is pretty and very angelic,  but it is still too sheer for my taste. Just can't get past the visible nail line, oh well.

"Tulum"
2 coats, no to coat

Love this! Mushroom creme with light gold shimmer. I am NOT a fan of mushrooms on my plate, but on my tips... it's a winner! This is awesome!

"Swanbourne"
2 coats, no top coat

Dark chocolate creme with gold and rust shimmer. So pretty, and so shiny! The color may not be unique, but the finish is, this shimmer really sets it apart from the rest of the chocolate crowd :)

"Toxic Seaweed"
2 coats, no top coat

Oh yeah! I am loving this green stunner! Dark green jelly with green and rust multi-glitter! Smooth and perfect and for those of you who think this is similar to China Glaze "Atlantis"... nope, it's not.

This is more green, and the glitter is finer and is more golden, than the silver holographic glitter in Atlantis. I will post a comparison soon.

Can you see the rust colored glitter, love it! Toxic or not, I'm all over this one.  I'm going to try this over my favorite dark green creme!

Overall these nudes are anything BUT boring, they have shimmer and uniqueness that is amazing.  The formula and brush are great as well, super easy to work with.

My favorites are "Tulum" and "Toxic Seaweed". :)

Happy Friday!

Sawbourne (I have no idea what that even means) is a great color.

It's actually Swanbourne. Maria named them all after nude beaches. Was yours spelled wrong on the label? Beautiful swatches!! :)

@Dante and Jeni- Nope, I mis-spelled it, my bad! Fixed it now! :P

mazo would be perfect if one were going for a shimmery french tip design :)

I got the whole collection, and they are all lovely! But Mazo did get more opaque for me than it did for you. I wore it last week and at 2 coats, mine was obviously nude, although there was still VNL. I layered a chunky holographic glitter over it (Icing Frost Yourself) and it was gorgeous!
